Contemporary art gallery focusing on emerging Bay Area artists. Incline Gallery was founded and is owned by Christo Oropeza and Brian Perrin Incline Gallery is an alternative art space that fosters relationships between community and artists. We create opportunities for emerging as well as established artists to exhibit in a non-cube format that challenges and encourages experimentation in exhibition design. Our role continues to expand by facilitating outside curators, international exchanges and partnerships within a community based organization. Excerpt from DailySecret.com- Suggesting a trek down an alley in the heart of the Mission may sound like mean-spirited tourist advice, but turn down this one and you’ll discover a surprising treat – the Incline Gallery. Tucked between a bike shop and The Summit SF coffee shop, the Incline Gallery is so named because the exhibition space is spread vertically up a ramp that crisscrosses the building and makes for a wonderful wander. The exhibitions are thoughtfully curated and the shows I’ve seen have been humorous, thought-provoking and inventive - and you thought Mission alleys were only about murals.

Established in 2003 by Andrew Martin Scott and Breezy Culbertson, San Francisco’s Needles & Pens is an arts space that showcases international and locally-made artist books, self-published zines, magazines, independent press, as well as, hand-made goods, jewelry, accessories; and visual artwork in a gallery setting. Since it’s inception, the mission of the space has been to create a dialogue between the artistic community and the general public of San Francisco by providing a venue in which artists can directly sell their creations – 50-60% of most items sold goes directly back to the artist that created it. Over the last 10 years, having hosted over 80 gallery exhibitions (including one in London, England and another in Malmo, Sweden), N&P has evolved into a grass-roots hub of the city’s thriving arts scene that attracts both a local and an international scope of artists providing an integral “stepping-stone” type of service with it’s virtual open-door to beginning artists. For many, Needles & Pens is the first place to display anything they’ve created publicly. There have been countless throngs of successful local individuals who’s work was first shown in a zine or silk-screened t-shirt on the racks at N&P that later went on to greater acclaim. Among this spectrum of influential artists are: Tauba Auerbach, Monica Canilao, Bill Daniel, Chris Duncan, Hamburger Eyes, Maria Forde, Jay Nelson, Mat O’Brien, Emily Prince, The Polaroid Kidd, Kyle Ranson, Sara Thustra, and many more… WE'RE OPEN DAILY 12 PM - 7 PM When in Los Angeles visit our sister store: & Pens Press 8564 Washington Blvd Culver City, CA. 90232

We Get It. When you look down the street, you will realize that there are salons everywhere - but in a bad way, because that means that you have to spend more of your time figuring out which place is genuinely trustworthy, and less time deciphering what you really want for yourself. We want to change that, because we want you to spend your time doing what you want to be doing, not what you have to be doing. Our intuitive team knows what will work for you and what won't -sorry, not sorry - and we tell you because we believe that's the best way to develop a relationship. You see, we believe in being honest with you so that what we deliver will make you feel like your best self everyday. We want to get to know you - because the reality is, hair is just an extension of you. We'll help you look how you want to look, so that you can continue shaking the world. We'll be us, so that you can be you.

Built in 1907, the hall embodies old world design and craftsmanship with 20-foot arched ceilings, red skylights, wooden floors, and a wrap around balcony. Mascis, Frank Black, Blink 182, St. Vincent, The Decembrists, Spoon, Iron and Wine, Rilo Kiley, Vincent Gallo, Mumford and Sons, Train, Cake, Sara Bareilles, Andrew W.K., Brian Jonestown Massacre, Girls, Alkaline Trio, and the comedian Scott Capurro.
