Lesley University College of Art and Design is a college of visual arts, located in the student-friendly Harvard Square area of Cambridge, MA. Since our founding in 1912, we have educated students for professions in the arts by balancing personal aesthetic development and intensive studies in the humanities with practical career preparation. Our challenging curriculum emphasizes solid foundations in traditional art and design principles, time-proven methods of creative process, and strong intellectual concepts. We offer the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, the two-year Advanced Professional Certificate, the two-year Master of Fine Arts in Photography, the low-residency Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts degree, as well as continuing and professional education, intensive workshops, and college courses for high school students.
Diablo Glass School opened in 2001, creating a public access glass arts studio in Boston, Massachusetts. Diablo is a place where beginning and experienced glass artists are welcome to share a nurturing environment, to grow and develop their creative skills in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Diablo offers different level classes and facilities in various disciplines, exposing a broad spectrum of people to exciting glass techniques in glassblowing, flameworking, fused glass and stained glass. By connecting students to professional national and international glass artists, we provide a learning experience that constantly offers new information and challenges. Diablo currently has partnerships with institutions such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston University, Massachusetts College of Arts and Design, and Decordova Museum and Sculptural Park.
The Tufts School of the Museum of Fine Arts is one of the schools that comprise Tufts University, located in Boston, Massachusetts. The school offers undergraduate and graduate degrees dedicated to the visual arts. It is affiliated with the Museum of Fine Arts. SMFA is also a member of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design, a consortium of several dozen leading art schools in the United States.OverviewThe school does not have a foundations program, but it does require all new students to take a freshman seminar. Encouraged to build an individual program of interdisciplinary study, students are not asked to declare a major, but by choosing among in-depth courses in a dozen disciplines, students are free to concentrate in a medium of their choice.One of the unique attributes of SMFA is that students are required to participate in a "Review Board" which is a review of all of the art work that a student has done during the semester. Review Boards are led by two faculty members, one of whom is the students' choice, and two fellow students. There are many opportunities for students to exhibit their artwork at both the main building and the Mission Hill building.Opportunities to exhibit works include the annual Museum School Art Sale and the juried "Student Annual Exhibition". Various galleries and spaces that are available to students around the school buildings include Bag Gallery, Hallway Gallery, Bathroom Gallery, Underground Gallery, as well as the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Hartt Vocal Studio is a Stoneham-based voice lesson studio (with an additional Boston location) serving students of all ages and abilities. Many students join the studio to get help preparing for auditions, performances, solos, and other special events. College students work with Ruth to maintain their vocal technique while in school. High school students join the studio to prep for college music program auditions. Adult singers study with Ruth because they find that music is a wonderful tool for self expression and a great way to relax or de-stress. Repertoire covers a variety of styles, from classical and musical theater to jazz and pop. Students learn in a relaxed and nurturing environment as Ruth guides them toward a healthy vocal technique, confidence, and strong musical skills. Prospective students need not have prior training – Ruth is experienced in teaching students of all levels and abilities. Her individualized approach ensures that each student develops a strong foundation in vocal technique and, with a consistent home practice routine, shows rapid progress from week to week. Along the way, Ruth helps her students develop confidence and stage presence, encouraging them to be expressive singers and performers. Ruth is a skilled pianist, so there is no need to pay for a lesson accompanist. Singers will learn to sing without tension, use their breath properly, smooth out the shift between registers, develop a more powerful sound, sing high notes with ease, perform with confidence, read music, build their piano skills, and more. With a firm belief that performing is part of the learning process, Ruth provides her students with performance opportunities throughout the year. Students are invited to participate in semester studio concerts; additional workshops and masterclasses are scheduled throughout the year. Students are also encouraged to pursue outside competitions and performances.

St. Marys Street (signed as St. Mary's) is a surface light rail stop on the MBTA Green Line "C" Branch, located just west of the intersection of Beacon Street and Park Drive in the northeastern tip of Brookline, Massachusetts. Like all surface stops on the line, St Marys Street consists of two side platforms serving two tracks.
