Located in the heart of SOMA, BeatBox is a completely renovated warehouse with exposed brick and steel, a 25’ ceiling, private mezzanine, oversized bar, a beautiful wood dance floor, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting. A large, modular stage (25'x9') can be reconfigured to accommodate everything from a single DJ to live bands, dancers, fashion shows, corporate presentations, and more. BeatBox has the only Danley Sound Labs audio system in the West, LED and state-of-the-art lighting grid, a 10ft x 12ft and two 5ft by 5ft projection screens, in house Flat Screen TV's, and a Cryogenic system. Beatbox is home to the hottest dance parties, amazing live music, distinctive corporate events, and local/regional art exhibits and shows. As a member of the community, BeatBox will always work to secure discounted space for community classes, rehearsals, and performances whenever possible. The BeatBox crew - a small team of motivated entreprenenuers, tradesmen, and staff - have spent the last year turning a run-down, historic building into a beautiful, industrial-style facility full of new energy and life. Pier 70 in San Francisco, California, is a historic pier in San Francisco's Potrero Point neighborhood, home to the Union Iron Works and later to Bethlehem Shipbuilding. It was one of the largest industrial sites in San Francisco during the two World Wars. Today, it is regarded as the best preserved 19th century industrial complex west of the Mississippi.Physical plantThe pier is 65acre in size.HistoryThe area around Pier 70 has been used for shipbuilding since the Gold Rush. Since becoming home to the Union Iron Works in 1883, Pier 70 has been occupied by a variety of industrial concerns, including the Pacific Rolling Mills, Risdon Iron & Locomotive, Kneass Boat Works, Union Iron Works, Bethlehem Shipbuilding, and BAE Systems.After Bethlehem acquired Union Iron Works in 1905, the pier also housed Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corporation's administrative offices in Building 101.Bethlehem Steel sold their holdings in the area to the Port of SF in 1980.Current state and developmentMost of the pier's buildings have been unoccupied since the decline of shipbuilding in the area. However, some of the pier's historic buildings are currently occupied by BAE Systems Ship Repair and by a number of artist studios. Two dry docks are operated by BAE Systems San Francisco Ship Repair, employing approximately 200 people.The Port of San Francisco currently plans to redevelop the pier for mixed commercial and residential use in partnership with Orton Development, Inc. and Forest City Development. The redevelopment was expected to include roughly a thousand housing units and two million square feet of office space. In 2013, plans included a "Crane Cove Park" that would feature the historic cranes in the northern part of the pier complex.

We are an urban winery situated conveniently along the T-Line in the heart of San Francisco's up and coming Dogpatch neighborhood. Our 15000 square foot barrel room makes an excellent event venue for weddings, corporate functions, fund raisers and private parties up to 300 people. For smaller events we can move the barrels to adapt the space to suit the size of your function. The tasting room is open Sundays from 12:00pm to 6:00pm and features a rotating selection of wines from the Dogpatch brand and our custom crush clients. We offer blending sessions, and private tastings throughout the week by appointment only. At Dogpatch WineWorks you can make your own barrel or lot of wines through our custom crush program. Whether you are building your own brand, partnering with a group of friends or doing something fun for your company our team will work with you in a capacity that suits your needs. Dating back to the turn of the 19th century, the structures that remain at Pier 70 are rooted deep in San Francisco’s ship building history. With capacities from 30 to over 13,000 people, these giant, cavernous, corrugated metal hulks boast beautiful bay views and are ready to host parties, galas, expositions, and community events. As homage to this hamlet, they wanted to coalesce the character of this neighborhood with the alchemy of what they do, thus the name theLab. To take it a step further reestablishing the “experiential tasting dinners” from time past …the tasteProjects, partnering with culinary compatriots who have like-minded philosophies in creating food that’s innovative and daring with humor. Founded in 1970, the Galería is a non-profit community-based arts organization whose mission is to foster public awareness and appreciation of Chicano/Latino art and serve as a laboratory where artists can both explore contemporary issues in art, culture and civic society, and advance intercultural dialogue.
