Francis Field is a stadium at Washington University in St. Louis that was used as the main stadium for the 1904 Summer Olympics. It is currently used by the university's track and field, cross country, football, and soccer teams. It is located in St. Louis County, Missouri on the far western edge of the university's Danforth Campus. Built in time for the 1904 World's Fair, the stadium once had a 19,000 person seating capacity, but stadium renovations in 1984 reduced the capacity to 4,000 persons. It is one of the oldest sports venues west of the Mississippi River that is still in use. Francis Field now utilizes artificial Field Turf, which can be configured for both soccer and football.
The primary objectives of the Richmond Heights Fire Department (RHFD) are to save lives and minimize property damage. In addition to the application of fire fighting methodologies, the goal of saving lives extends into Emergency Medical Service (EMS) situations, such as heart attacks, asthmatic distress, and broken bones, as well as rescue operations of all types. In order to achieve these objectives, the employees of the RHFD are engaged in training to keep their fire science, rescue and EMS skills sharp. They meet with schools and other public groups on fire safety matters, attend neighborhood functions when requested, conduct annual fire code compliance inspections of all business entities in Richmond Heights, (including those at Saint Louis Galleria, The Boulevard-St. Louis and Richmond Center) and are involved in a host of other activities. Fire Department personnel also participate in a number of community service projects, such as the annual Muscular Dystrophy "Fill the Boot" campaign, the Missouri Burn Camp for Children fundraisers, and a smoke detector distribution program for Richmond Heights residents.

Little Angels Foundation (LAF), was founded on March 14, 2013. Our organization aims to enrich the lives of children by providing books, school supplies, shoes, clothing, nutrition, and other necessary items to children in need. We also provide tutoring and mentorship to children in need in order to improve their interest and success in education. The Foundation's mission is to make a life-changing impact on children, families, and entire communities by providing a way for children in need to be put on a level playing field with their peers. 2 out of 5 children in the city of St. Louis are living in poverty. Our aim is to improve these children’s lives by providing them with the items they may not otherwise have access to. We want to provide these children with new items. Often, children living in poverty live off of used items and hand-me-downs. We want to ensure that these children know that they are important and that they are just as deserving of attention as their peers. We hope to bring joy to these children’s lives by giving them new items that they are in need of. Our Strategy Little Angels Foundation’s (LAF) aim is to fulfill its mission through grassroots volunteering and donations. Volunteers serve as family, fundraisers, special event assistants, donors, sponsors, and in numerous other capacities. We strive to be involved in our community and we encourage questions, referrals, or any other thoughts to be shared with us via e-mail. Our Values Each and every staff member and volunteer of LAF shares the values that drive our success in helping children in need. Accountability: We take personal responsibility for using our resources efficiently, achieving measurable results, and being accountable to supporters, partners, and most of all, children. Ambition: We demand the best of ourselves and our colleagues, set high goals, and firmly commit to improving the quality of all that we do in this organization. Collaboration: We respect and value each other, thrive on our diversity, and work with partners to leverage our strength in making a difference for children. Creativity: We are open to new ideas, embrace change, and take disciplined risks to develop sustainable solutions. Integrity: We aspire to live to the highest standards of personal honesty and behavior. We never compromise our reputation and always act in the best interests of the children. As LAF continues to mature, its mission and values will remain steadfast. The Little Angels of the past, present and future will have an opportunity to share the power of LAF by providing for children’s needs.
I bring a wide and deep body of experience to the table. It is centered around communication and community. Over the past decade, I’ve fostered communication between businesses, governments and political campaigns, and the communities of which they wanted to be a part. I’ve also used communication to build new communities and reform existing ones. • In my current consultancy business, I’ve specialized in bringing new social media sites from development to deployment. This requires serving as a bridge between senior management, marketers, IT staff, lawyers and the general public, despite the different priorities and backgrounds of each group. As to the public, the job is sociology, programming and marketing rolled into one. To top it off, it requires crafting a human and accessible public persona for the institution that’s sponsoring the new site. • As Community Manager at Yahoo, I helped to build a loyal audience for Yahoo Answers and My Web, two strategically important products in which users build the content. The quality of these products hinges on the quality of their users, and it was my job to retain those users. • As Communications Coordinator for the Mayor of the City of St. Louis, I wrote the speeches and articles that enabled him to reach out to a diverse electorate, crossing racial, economic and ethnic lines. • As a public liaison and campaign manager, I've spent my days with those people, answering tough questions in such a way that every answer built a specific image. • As an executive in two web development firms, I built products for a variety of institutional and professional clients. Not technically inclined themselves, they relied upon me to serve as a bridge between the engineers and themselves. In all of these fields, I've been able to draw upon a wide fund of knowledge and skills. My legal education (J.D., Vanderbilt, 1995) provided me with the research skills, organizational ability and techniques needed to navigate complex organizations and complicated projects with strict deadlines.
