Hillel, the center for Jewish life on campus, is the largest, most exciting and most versatile organization at Boston University. Students work hard to build connections and strengthen relationships with other campus communities. They have made Hillel an integral part of BU's social, cultural, educational, political and religious life. Hillel isn't a club to join, but rather a connection to explore. Students have incredible freedom to create programming portraying their Jewish identity or their exploration of that identity. Hillel is yours to own and build or just to partake of; student involvement can be central, in policy decisions or programming, or it can simply be occasional attendance. Either way, Hillel is there for you. Note: Individuals may comment and post on our facebook page. The views expressed in individuals' comments and posts are not necessarily shared by BU Hillel as an organization. The divisional studies track requires students to take two courses in each of the three divisions of which their major is not a part. Additionally, students must also complete a one year sequence in Boston University's writing program. The Core Curriculum consists of a series of eight courses that cover the general requirements as well as the University writing requirements. Finally, all students must display a proficiency in a foreign language .Boston University's CAS provides advising resources to undergraduates in pre-professional tracks, including Pre-Med and Pre-Law.
