Formerly the Norwich Arts Council, the Norwich Arts Center is a non-profit arts org in the Chelsea Arts District of Downtown Norwich boasting 2 galleries, a theater and a remarkable line-up of programming. Since 1987, NAC has been a local mecca for artists, performers, and fans of culture in the city of Norwich and in the region. NAC has also been designated as a Local Arts Agency, partially funded by the CT Commission on Culture and Tourism, and has been engaged in networking regional artists and arts groups. In Norwich they saw world renowned musical acts, numerous pieces of art from local and abroad Artist alike. Yet most importantly brought together Norwich as a community. Showing that together we each have something to celebrate and offer the place we live. We think it's about time to bring this wonderful event back to the city!
