We are a federal tax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. We meet regularly with our Board of Directors and as of January 2007, we send newsletters to our LGBTQ email list, which includes current Center-sponsored events and volunteer opportunities.
At City Greens Market we believe nutritious food is an essential component of a happy and healthy life. Food is our body's fuel. People unite around food - sharing meals and memories with family, friends, and neighbors. Our community should have access to healthy, fresh, and affordable choices to fuel our bodies and minds. And we can make this happen! City Greens Market sells products from local Missouri and Illinois farmers. And it's all sold AT COST. How are we able to do so? With the support of our members! We need your support! Our non-profit organization is supported through memberships. Houesholds with higher incomes (over $30,000) pay an annual membership donation, while families with lower incomes (under $30,000) join as members without donating. Then everybody shops at the same prices - AT COST! Instead of marking up our products to make a profit, our paid members make the profit for us. PLEASE HELP US serve our neighbors by making healthy food accessible. City Greens Market is a local food OASIS smack-dab in the middle of a food DESERT. FOOD FOR ALL!

Almost Home inspires teen moms to create a better life for themselves and their children.
The festival is named for the old bus and trolley turn around on Thurman between Botanical and Magnolia, known as the Thurman Loop. We're closing the streets at Shenandoah and Thurman from alley to alley and bringing live music, spoken word performances and beautiful arts and crafts to our neighbors and friends. This is a casual family event with no admission charge. Please join us on Friday from 5 PM to 1AM, and Saturday from12PM to 1AM
Family P.R.I.D.E. (Parental Resources, Infant Development and Environment), Midtown's outreach to pregnant moms and parents of newborns and toddlers is 15 years old in 2008. The program was designed to provide support and resources to new parents and families where healthy births were a concern. Since its beginnings many healthy babies have been born. In 2008, Midtown was established as a "Pregnancy Resource Center" allowing a focus on pregnant moms, especially adolescents. A library of books for moms and kids was established. Also, a monthly store is available to participants where they may receive diapers, developmental toys and books, bus tickets, children's clothing or other needed items. At Midtown, there is a celebration of life everyday!
YWCA Metro St. Louis is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. We believe women and their families achieve their full potential and well-being in a world without discrimination. The world’s oldest and largest women’s organization, YWCA was founded in England in 1855. The organization that became YWCA Metro St. Louis began in 1904 as an effort to provide housing and job training for rural women who had come to the city to work at the World’s Fair. In 1905, the organization was incorporated with YWCA. For decades, it has been an autonomous, accredited affiliate of YWCA USA, broadening its focus to meet the changing needs of women. YWCA Metro St. Louis is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and developing youth by providing services to women, children, youth and families in the St. Louis area. For over 100 years, YWCA has been the backbone of women’s support services within our community, which helps our clients find paths to self-sufficiency through our programs that mentor, educate and propel women to their fullest potential. YWCA Metro St. Louis is proud to offer assistance from the following programs: Head Start & Early Head Start for children ages 0-5 and their families; Women's Resource Center and the Sexual Assault Response Team, which serves sexual assault and abuse survivors ages 14 and older by offering crisis intervention support for victims, individual and group counseling, and a 24-hour rape crisis hotline (314-531-RAPE); Phyllis Wheatley Transitional Housing Program for single, homeless adult women ages 18 and older; Racial Justice programs and seminars from anyone ages 10 and older; Women's Economic Stability Partnership for single mothers ages 18 and older; and YW-Teens for young women ages 12-18. YWCA is a non-profit, tax-deductible organization, and a proud United Way of Greater St. Louis member agency. Since its inception in 1975, Beyond Housing has sought to provide the supports and services that assist low-income families in growing into their long-term goals. Beyond Housing has met the challenge of evolving to incorporate the changing needs of families, communities and the 21st century workplace. While identifying and addressing immediate needs to establish stability, families are also engaged in a comprehensive array of services that produce positive outcomes. Beyond Housing is a charter member of the NeighborWorks®, a national network of community-based organizations that improve and strengthen communities through cooperative efforts with residents, business people, government officials, and other partners.
Isaiah 58 MInistries is a collaborative, ecumenical ministry begun in 1970 as 5 Church Association. Five area churches, seeing the need for such a ministry in the community, came together to create this wonderful ministry. It has evolved over the years, and now serves over 600 families every month through its various services.
Camp Kesem is a nationwide community, driven by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. A program of Kesem, Camp Kesem operates over 70 free summer camps in 33 states for children ages 6 to 16 who have been touched by a parent’s cancer. This camping experience has a lasting impact on children by providing them a peer-support network that understands their unique needs, builds confidence and strengthens their communication skills. In 2015, Camp Kesem served over 5,000 children coast-to-coast - all funded by generous donations from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners

Cornerstone endeavors to prepare students for a lifetime of positive social interaction and learning. We believe that children learn best from active involvement with all aspects of the world. From their earliest days at Cornerstone, students explore the beginnings of reading, writing, math, art and science as they play in water, pound on playdough, draw and paint, sing and dance, or cook and bake. Through "hands on/minds on" learning, they build the early foundations of autonomous behavior, taking responsibility for their learning, and accepting the natural consequences of their decisions.

SAB is Saint Louis University's student run programming organization dedicated to planning a wide variety of events on SLU's campus. We provide activities for all students which include concerts, comedians, entertainers, movies, novelty acts. Weekly meetings are held Tuesday nights at 6:00pm in BSC 253 A&D. All are welcome to attend!
Prosperity Connection was established in 2010 with the help of St. Louis Community Credit Union. It is an independent 501(c)(3) whose mission is to strengthen the St. Louis region by providing financial education, affordable financial services, resources, and support to low-to-moderate income populations in an effort to improve their standard of living and better their lifestyle. We offer free financial coaching and money management education, as well as low-cost banking options for people who cannot open an account or access affordable credit. These key resources make it possible for individuals to earn economic independence.
