The Milner Arms Apartments, originally known as the Hotel Stevenson, is a high rise building located at 40 Davenport Street in Midtown Detroit, Michigan; it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. It is adjacent to, but not part of, the Cass-Davenport Historic District.

The program is a one of the three core initiatives launched by Living Cities, a consortium of 22 of the world’s largest foundations. The purpose of the Integration Initiative is to create a system of process change that will tackle critical issues impeding access to opportunity for low-income residents through a collaborative effort of public, private, philanthropic and non-profit partners. The Detroit project is being led by Midtown Detroit Inc. with support from partners ; Vanguard Community Development Corporation, The Skillman Foundation, Kresge Foundation, Hudson-Webber Foundation, Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center, Henry Ford Health Systems, City of Detroit, Data Driven Detroit and U3 Ventures. The geographic are the project operates in are the North End and Midtown Communities. The four core areas the WCI will work to create change in are land-use planning, education, housing, and economic development. The team based in the Midtown Co-Lab will facilitate all of the work for this project with the partners.
The Detroit School of Arts, originally known as the Detroit High School for the Fine and Performing Arts, is a blue ribbon high school located in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It is a part of the Detroit Public Schools district. Entrance to Detroit School of Arts is based on an audition that takes place at the end of a student's eighth grade year. Students are required to choose a "major". The Detroit School of Arts is one of four magnet schools in Detroit, where the others are Renaissance High School, Cass Technical High School and Communication & Media Arts High School.About DSADetroit School of Arts is a nationally renowned arts and academic high school that offers a strong college preparatory academic and arts curriculum, with pre-professional study in vocal music, instrumental music, music technology, dance, theater, speech, radio and television production, visual arts and visual communications. In order to provide a stimulus for young people to advance their knowledge in all areas, DSA provides an exigent academic program; DSA has a core academic, advanced placement curriculum. The school’s administration believes that these rigorous course offerings will prepare students for an internationally competitive society. The results of this demanding program are dramatic. Detroit School of Arts’ graduation rate averages 98% annually. All graduating seniors receive financial awards for college.
