GFWC Woman's Club of Hialeah was founded on May 4, 1922 by Ms. Lau A. Curtis and Mrs. James Bright. The main goal of the woman’s club was to establish a library for the city of Hialeah which was accomplished through the volunteer efforts of the members in 1925. The GFWC Woman’s Club of Hialeah is a volunteer women’s service organization, providing opportunities for education, leadership training, and community service to its members through the participation of the General Federation of the Women’s Clubs, the GFWC Florida Federation of Women’s Clubs, Miami-Dade County and our community, enabling them to make a difference in the lives of others.
The Super Summer MXP (Mission Experience) is a week-long mission experience for students who have completed the 6ththrough 12th grade and will be held at the Urban Impact Center in Miami.
