The Soulshine Community is a place for those of us who want a Home, not just a house, to live in. We want a community (family/home) where we feel safe. If we do not feel safe it is not a home. When we are safe we feel secure. When we feel secure we are able to live successfully in our world while feeling confident in our selves. WE practice a form of communication called “Compassionate Dialogue”. We need to be safe. Safe enough to be open and undefended as we share with one another. I will not wound you. I will not open old wounds to hurt you. We may ‘open’ wounds to heal… We explore to heal and bring out the best. We listen without judging or attacking what is being shared. We explore differences respectfully together, encouraging anyone who differs with the majority or the ‘leader’ to actively (and respectfully) express their dissonances with anything brought up… and we listen again to them. Choices (not ‘rules’) that support Compassionate Dialogue…. Not dueling or attack monologues. 1) I will not violate myself or others. 2) I will express my truth, disagree, “Oppose without imposing”, never attack. I don’t hold back to ‘be nice’. (Hand signals) 3) I want you to find and bring out the best in you. ((We are here to bring out the best in ourselves and each other.)) 4) I would like to believe that you will help me bring out the best in me. 5) We do not practice submission. In submission I have to give up my self and submit to another person’s will, losing my self. ((I don’t lose myself because I have a unique, creative, loving gift to give to the world)) 6) I will not polarize around a duality. We are a sex-positive, polyamory-positive, queer-positive community. We care about sustainable living, personal empowerment, non-violent communication, compassionate dialogue (http://compassionatedialogue.com/), and most of all, we care about each other. Wait List: Please contact us if you want an application to secure a place on the wait list for the house! (The best way to get involved is to attend our events!)

Sound recording
Distance: 1.0 mi Competitive Analysis
2203 venuce bl. los angeles ca 90006 - Seattle, Washington
Seattle, WA

Sound recording and reproduction is an electrical, mechanical, electronic, or digital inscription and re-creation of sound waves, such as spoken voice, singing, instrumental music, or sound effects. The two main classes of sound recording technology are analog recording and digital recording.Acoustic analog recording is achieved by a microphone diaphragm that can detect and sense the changes in atmospheric pressure caused by acoustic sound waves and record them as a mechanical representation of the sound waves on a medium such as a phonograph record (in which a stylus cuts grooves on a record). In magnetic tape recording, the sound waves vibrate the microphone diaphragm and are converted into a varying electric current, which is then converted to a varying magnetic field by an electromagnet, which makes a representation of the sound as magnetized areas on a plastic tape with a magnetic coating on it. Analog sound reproduction is the reverse process, with a bigger loudspeaker diaphragm causing changes to atmospheric pressure to form acoustic sound waves. Oscillations may also be recorded directly from devices such as an electric guitar pickup or a synthesizer, without the use of acoustics in the recording process, other than the need for musicians to hear how well they are playing during recording sessions via headphones.

Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium is an outdoor football stadium on the campus of the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, United States. It has been the home of the Washington Huskies of the Pac-12 Conference since 1920, hosting its football games. The university also holds its annual commencement at the stadium in June. It is located at the southeastern corner of campus, between Montlake Boulevard N.E. and Union Bay, just north of the Montlake Cut. The stadium is served by the University of Washington light rail station, as well as several bus routes. The stadium most recently underwent a $280 million renovation that was completed in 2013. Its U-shaped design was specifically oriented to minimize glare from the early afternoon sun in the athletes' eyes. The open end overlooks scenic Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains, including Mount Rainier. Prior to the 2011–13 renovation, its total capacity of 72,500 made it the largest stadium in the Pacific Northwest and the 23rd largest in college football.
