Maulers Hockey Central opened on September 15th, 2008. We are a retailer of new and used hockey equiptment, figure skating, lacrosse gear. We also carry Missoula Maulers apparel and tickets. Montana Elite Baseball Presents: An invitation to compete and try out for the Montana Elite Baseball Team for 2015. Montana Elite Baseball has been awarded a bid to at the 20156 USA Baseball 14U West National Team Championships tournament, played in Arizona, June 30th-July 7th, 2016. 14U National Team Championships - will be in Glendale, Peoria and Goodyear, Ariz., at the Spring Training homes of the White Sox/Dodgers, Padres/Mariners and Indians/Reds. Age Limit: May 1, 2001 (oldest birth date of eligible participant) Players born May 1, 2001, or later are eligible to compete in the 14U National Team Championships. Please note, however, that only players born Jan. 1, 2002, or later will be eligible to be selected to the 14U National Team • Team Development Program. USA Baseball requires that at least six players on each team's roster be born on or after this international age cutoff (Jan 1, 2001). There will be no exceptions to this rule in order to maximize the selection pool for national teams. This is an opportunity to be selected to TEAM USA BASEBALL. Roster Limits: Minimum of 15 players, maximum of 25 players. Montana Elite is a non-profit organization and is asking for a donation to assist in the dream of playing for Team USA. Our roster is a maximum of 25 players and five coaches. The age of the players are born May 1, 2001 or later, with a minimum of six players on the team needing to be born in 2002. Major expenses are airfare and lodging. The coaching staff is made up of a high quality team and Montana Elite will be paying for their experience and time. MT Elite Team Schedule: June 28th-29th arrive and train in Missoula, MT, fly out the morning of the June 29th to Arizona then compete July 1st-July 7th, and return July 8th in the afternoon. To showcase USA Baseball as the top level organization of baseball and as a feeder to Major League Baseball clubs, here are few names and statistics: Players such as Mike Trout, Clayton Kershaw, and many others have competed for Team USA as well as 180 USA Baseball alumni were on Major League Baseball active rosters in 2014. USA Baseball also had five alumni of the organization finish 2014 as World Series champions. The San Francisco Giants took home the crown in Game 7 against the Kansas City Royals, earning World Series rings for Jeremy Affeldt (2013 World Baseball Classic), Brandon Crawford (2006 Collegiate National Team), Jake Peavy (two-time alumni), Buster Posey (2004 18U National Team) and Ryan Vogelsong (2013 World Baseball Classic.)
