Located in Waterfront Park and Ankeny Plaza in Portland’s historic Old Town the Market is one of the most popular shopping destinations for local handcrafted goods. At the start of the tour, we hand our real ghost hunting equipment just like that used by professionals and on TV. We then set out visiting known ghostly places and getting behind the scenes into what hauntings are all about. Unlike other ghost tours, this is not a theatrical performance where we carry lanterns and dress up in period costumes. It's a true view into the reality of paranormal investigations, the equipment and techniques we use, and how we separate the truth from the hoaxes.

Hippodrome is a video production company based out of Portland, Oregon. We specialize in creating high quality commercials, promotional videos, narratives, documentaries, and music videos intended for broadcast and web delivery. Whatever your vision may be, we’ll make it look good! Hippodrome is comprised of Kevin Forrest, Emily Yurek, Benjamin Starkey, Josh Smith, and Jeff Colia. Kevin Forrest is Director of Cinematography. His ability to create stunning visual images has taken his work to a variety of film festivals and awards him a reputation of quality filmmaking. Kelly Raine is Post Production Supervisor. He incorporates dynamic visual effects and animations into both video installations and music videos produced for accomplished artists. Emily Yurek is Creative Director and Producer. Her expertise ranges from producing music videos, documentaries, and corporate videos while overseeing and facilitating the artistic vision necessary in bringing a project to life. Todd Silberman and Mitch Rofsky met forty years ago in an Ohio Cub Scout troop. Little did they know that someday they would create Better World Services, Inc. Wouldn't their den mother be proud? (There's so much more to tell about Todd and Mitch in their youth: from academic honors to the culture of the 1960’s—you know about the 1960’s don’t you? But we thought you'd be most interested in the Cub Scout story.) Better World Club's founders worked their way through law school in the 70's, Todd as a travel agent, Mitch with winnings from game shows like the Joker's Wild. Upon graduating, Todd sensed the airline industry beginning to deregulate. He seized the opportunity and co-founded the third largest travel agency in the U.S. before selling it to American Express in the early 90's. Todd was an innovator at the cutting edge of the fast evolving industry. Meanwhile, Mitch selflessly dedicated himself to the public interest, working for Ralph Nader's Public Citizen —(this was Nader well before he became a politician). He later helped to provide the initial financing for the socially responsible Working Assets Mutual Fund and became its President in 1991. He was the first chair of Business for Social Responsibility, and in 1996 founded just such a progressive business, American Consumer Insurance which is now Better World Insurance, Cambridge MA.
