Oasis is helping refugees from war-torn countries that have relocated to St. Louis, Missouri. Many have lost family and friends as a result of war or disease. They come with fears, grief and broken hearts. When they escape the terror of the war they are sent to a refugee camp, sometimes without electricity, water, decent shelter, or education. Most refugees have lived in the camps for as many as 15 years (usually in a country other than their home country). When they arrive in St. Louis the U.S. Government provides three month's rent and utilities. During this time they must find a job, set up transportation, and learn English in addition to learning the customs and laws of a completely new country. We want to help these families get started in practical ways with furniture, clothes, and classes to help them with English and to learn skills to gain employment; most importantly to simply be their friend. We want to welcome them to St. Louis and the United States

Newday Midwest is an annual summer gathering of youth groups from around the Midwest region within the Newfrontiers USA family of churches. We spend nearly a full week each summer serving a city, making friends, and (most importantly) encountering Jesus. This year, we are serving Joplin, MO in an effort to help continue rebuilding the city after a devastating EF-5 tornado hit in May of 2011. Last year, we saw fantastic growth in our youth, and are excited to return for another week of impact.
We exist to provide a religious education to the children of the parishes of the South City Deanery. Our classes meet on Monday nights, please give us a call if you wish to register your child or have any other questions.

Adorers of the Blood of Christ is a congregation of religious women established by Maria De Mattias to be a reconciling presence to the poor in our midst. We wish to minister Christ's presence in our world while we grow in our own relationship to God through prayer and community living. In the suffering, dying and rising of Jesus, we find a foundation for a variety of ministries. Adorers are found throughout the world responding to the needs for healthcare, education and community service. More than 300 Adorers live and minister in the United States. Our Spirit and Charism To be an Adorer of the Blood of Christ means to be wholly consecrated to the adoring and redeeming love of Jesus Christ, who shed his blood to free us from sin and reconcile us in love. Accordingly, our congregation itself must become "a living image of that divine charity with which this blood was shed, and of which it was and is sign, expression, measure and pledge." (Constitution of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, #2)

We are a western Buddhist community with roots in Korean Zen. It is our mission to offer a space for Zen practice to the region. Our hope is that by engaging the community and providing a practice place for awakening, more people will begin to realize the many benefits of beginning and continuing a Zen meditation practice. It is our hope that once the practitioner realizes the enrichment found in the practice, they will help to enrich the lives of all beings. We strive to make the teachings and practice of Zen more accessible and approachable to a modern-day western mindset, without sacrificing the wisdom of the Zen masters that have handed down to us this amazing tradition. We focus more on the Zen practice of awakening, rather than being tied to very specific forms and protocols. Boundless Buddha Zen Society and it’s centers/temples are completely open and welcoming to all people who are sincere in their wish to learn and practice Zen in a safe, encouraging, and welcoming community. We do not discriminate based on race, age, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any and all other dualistic mindsets. We see all beings as a Buddha!
