The Platt Student Performing Arts House, named for Marc E. ('79) and Julie Beren Platt ('79) is the home of University Life Arts Initiatives and the Performing Arts Council at the University of Pennsylvania.
Hours are Sunday-Wednesday 8am-12am midnight Thursday-Friday-Saturday 8am-2am

For the last three years, Pocket Farm has been a part of the City Harvest Growers Alliance and this year is a part of City Harvest. The garden has 9 chickens and 9 raised beds with around 800 sq ft of growing space that is used to grow food for both the volunteers and the neighborhood. During the season, Pocket Farm opens its gates each week for neighbors to pick up free produce and also hosts Kids Night (alternating Mondays and Tuesdays 6-8pm), where volunteers lead gardening projects and educate neighborhood children about growing and caring for plants.

The flamboyant Hanson Haines House, sometimes known simply as the Castle, is a residence at 4801 Springfield Avenue in the Spruce Hill neighborhood of West Philadelphia. The house was built in 1902-03 for Quaker banker Hanson Haines by Quaker architect Charles Balderston in a German Medieval Revival style on the exterior and in a Colonial Revival style in the interior.
