St. Louis Community College–Meramec (also known as STLCC-Meramec or Meramec) campus is located in the suburb of Kirkwood, MO. Meramec is the largest community college in Missouri with over 12,000 undergraduate and transfer students. Along with the 78acre main campus in Kirkwood, Meramec operates one satellite campus in South St. Louis County - Meramec’s South County Education and University Center. Constituted in Spring 1993, the Graduate Student Senate (GSS) is the graduate student governing body composed of one representative from each degree-granting department or program in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, as well as graduate students from Engineering and the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. The primary objectives of the GSS are to provide channels of communication among graduate students, the Dean of the Graduate School, and other members of the University community; to enhance the graduate student experience through professional development programming and social events; and to provide a forum for graduate student concerns. The Legal Studies for the Paralegal program prepares students for careers as paralegals. The paralegal program at Meramec is the oldest degree-granting program in the United States and was established in 1969. Paralegal professionals have a variety of career paths to choose from including paralegals in private law firms, corporations, government agencies, or other businesses. In addition, paralegals can choose between other paralegal-related occupations such as claims adjusters, appraisers, examiners, investigators, court clerks, and real estate management. Associate in Applied Science for Legal Studies for the Paralegal is a 65 credit-hour program and is generally required for an entry-level position as a paralegal. With the right planning, the associate degree is transferable to Webster University. Certificate of Proficiency in Legal Studies for the Paralegal is a 30-credit-hour study of law courses and is designed for those who already have a college degree, regardless of major. Many candidates of the certificate program are seeking a career change or are currently employed in a law-related field.

You do not have to be a Maritz employee. In fact, many of us are not. You can visit us any week with no obligation to join. The Art and Art History Travel Study Program, housed in the Art and Art History Department at the University of Missouri-St. Louis's College of Fine Arts and Communication, was created to help students develop a vision for their lives as participants in the arts. Junior and seniors in art, art history, art education and graphic design apply to participate in a free three-day trip to a city in the United States. The trip provides an unparalled chance for students to meet with artists, curators, designers and collectors about their work. The Ferring Art and Art History Study Travel Program has received support from some of the region's top arts philanthropists and named after lead donors Alison and John Ferring.
