Our gallery program features painting, illustration, and sculpture that is modern, colorful, and positive, integrating many elements of urban culture with traditional techniques. We work with over 30 artists of varying styles and scales yet strive to achieve a cohesive aesthetic. Started as an online clothing boutique called fabric8 in 1995, we opened our current location in 2006 and shifted focus towards the multitude of talented visual artists working in contemporary mediums. Luna Rienne joined the team in 2012 and honed the mission of the gallery, consequently prompting the change of business name in 2013.
We are a familia of Artists that creates to empower you. Artillery is an interactive space where thinkers & makers come together to promote diversity, community, peace, and earth conscious art. We aspire to acknowledge the greatness in all. In the summer of 2009 Artillery AG blossomed in the Mission district of San Francisco. Founders Ivan Lopez & Alexa Treviño set out to establish an alternative space that embodies the Bay Area community. Creating a network of Artists and Designers to sustain themselves with their passion. Consistently evolving with our in house and 80+ Bay Area artists, Artillery shows the sweat & passion in our craft. Making products with a purpose to move you. We work together to promote peace, love, & education through art while bridging different communities together. We have been able to be a platform for emerging artists reaching all parts of the spectrum. Exhibiting work of visual artists from fine art to street art. Creating wearable art and stepping away from fast fashion. We provide a space for local musicians to share their love and message with our growing community. We want to show you our hustle and skill, to spark the connection that we all share. No matter who you are you can appreciate the greatness in everyone. We want to be better so that we can all be better. Art is a language we can all understand and right now more than ever we need to communicate. With your support we make our passion our profession. A favorite of San Francisco, Gilbertina Guarini is the artist behind Qoio accessories. Her distinct style and handmade touch can be found in every one of her designs and the penetrating colors in daring combinations are often signatures of her work. Rather than simply gleaning from the 'main stream' trends in accessories, she remains true to her artistic roots, adding her own twists and flavor along the way. Gilbertina also enjoys working with brides and wedding planners to create beautiful and unique custom jewelry for the bride's wedding day and beyond. Contact Qoio for a consultation any time.
