The New Museum is the only museum in New York City exclusively devoted to contemporary art. The Ukrainian Museum is the largest museum in the U.S. committed to acquiring, preserving, exhibiting, and interpreting articles of artistic or historic significance to the rich cultural heritage of Ukrainians. At its founding in 1976 by the Ukrainian National Women's League of America, the Museum was hailed as one of the finest achievements of the Ukrainian American community. Today, its unparalleled array of folk art, exceptional collection of fine art, and extensive compendium of archival materials make it one of the most unique and dynamic museums in New York City, with broad appeal for diverse audiences. Each year, the Museum organizes several exhibitions, publishes accompanying bilingual catalogues, and conducts a wide range of public programming, frequently in collaboration with other museums, educational institutions, and cultural centers.

The Center for Italian Modern Art (CIMA) was established in 2013 as an exhibition and research center to bridge the cultural gap between Italy and the United States in the narratives of 20th century art and culture. Through annual exhibitions, multiple art historical fellowships awarded each year to international doctoral candidates, and a vast calendar of public initiatives, CIMA provides opportunities for the public and scholars alike to explore Italian masterpieces and consider the legacy and ongoing impact of this work on contemporary art and culture. Each year CIMA presents an installation in its SoHo loft dedicated to work rarely seen outside of Italy. The 2016-17 exhibition season focuses on Giorgio de Chirico, founder of Metaphysical art, and conceptual artist Giulio Paolini. In 2005, the organization began facilitating public access to the studios of Sylvia Wald and Po Kim and to their art works. The organization's programs incorporate the working studios and the roof top garden of Sylvia Wald and Po Kim, also part of the gallery’s 417 Lafayette Street location. By working together with national and international artists and institutions, the organization aims to provide a catalyst for deeper intercultural dialogue between the diverse community of New York and the artistic communities of the world.

A Duchampian extension of his art practice IFAC is a semi-nomadic project space functioning in the real and virtual worlds through a broad based international network of artists, curators, advisers, collectors, entrepreneurs and technology experts that seek to expand the dialogue in the arts and the avant garde. IFAC has globally exhibited the works of 1000's of emerging and established artists in 100's of exhibitions, screenings, performances and events. His projects and exhibitions have been reviewed in publications including The New York Times, The NY Observer, The Art Newspaper, Rolling Stone, and Art in America. Wells has lectured on art, technology, and contemporary society at many universities and art schools including: Columbia University, Princeton University, New York University, Carnegie Mellon University, School of Visual Arts, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, University of Georgia, Moscow School of Photography, and others. Through IFAC, Wells was special projects curator for Scope Art Fairs from 2005-2010, a co-founder Peanut Underground Art Projects New York and co-creator of the video art archive Perpetual Art Machine.

WHAT IS TALKING STICK?? Talkingstick at RMA is a FREE monthly event, which features writers, actors, comedians, and performers sharing true stories inspired by works of art from the Rubin Museum of Art collection alongside museum guides who share stories from within the rich oral traditions of the Himalayas. Funny, sad, poignant, and cutting, Talkingstick at RMA provides opportunities to explore various perspectives on Himalayan art while experiencing the spontaneous and dynamic world of storytelling. Talkingstick at RMA is held at 8:30pm on the second Friday of each month in the galleries of the museum with founders, Master Lee and Mr. Patrick. Meet at the bottom of the lobby stairs at 8:30pm. Lot 180 brings to market carefully curated selections of photography, vintage prints, vinyl record art, skate decks and sough-after collectibles for showcase and sale in alternative spaces in New York City and Los Angeles, with new markets to be added in 2015. The brainchild of collector and private art dealer Ron Kosa, Lot 180 invites art enthusiasts to go beyond traditional exhibition spaces for behind the scenes experiences, to engage with and collect pieces of history through works of art and collectibles. Lot 180 launches at 52 Kenmare Street NYC on July 24th with a portfolio of rare vintage art, signed limited edition photographs and collectibles, uniquely set against the backdrop of New York City during the late 1970s and 1980s.

The New York City Fire Museum is the official museum of the FDNY and houses one of the nation's most prominent collections of fire related art and artifacts from the 18th Century to the present. Among its holdings are painted leather buckets, helmets, parade hats and belts, lanterns and tools, Volunteer-era hand pumped fire engines, horse drawn vehicles and early motorized apparatus. Admission is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children, seniors and college students; Admission is free for active FDNY, NYPD, DSNY and NYNJPA members.

Our communal West Village space between Charles and West 10th St on one of the most charming blocks of Bleecker Street has become a neighborhood fixture. Our mission is to invite local and international artists to display their work without the commercialization that hinders artists in more established galleries, while engaging the neighborhood and providing accessible art on an affordable basis. Many of our artists are finding new collectors, some of whom are only beginning to find their passion, making this endeavor most gratifying to Maura and Rob Geils, the volunteer curators of the gallery. As a valuable amenity for the building and its shareholders, we invite the neighborhood and our friends to join us in our celebrations introducing the artists every 6 weeks or so. The 350 Bleecker community prides itself on its important anchor position in the West Village, and as such strives to open its doors in order to provide a rare community service to all who join us. Kips Gallery is located in New York City. The gallery was started by Ken Kim in 2002 who is its owner and director. Ken Kim was also the Executive Director of the Korean Art Show, an art fair held in New York City in March 2010,2011,2012. Kips Gallery participates in various international art fairs such as KIAF, Art Asia, SCOPE, Korean Art Show, Shilla Hotel Fair Seoul, etc. Kips Gallery is open to a variety of art, figurative, abstract, installations, or conceptual. The gallery is not interested in “categories” as such, but rather in the quality of the work shown which should be of paramount importance. The gallery is also presenting art by artists outside of America especially from Europe or Asia.

The Center for Architecture is the premier cultural venue for architecture and the built environment in New York City, informed by the complexity of the City’s urban fabric and in dialogue with the global community. The Center shares a home with the American Institute of Architecture New York (AIANY) chapter and has the unique advantage of drawing upon the ideas and experiences of practicing architects to produce thought-provoking exhibitions, informative public programs, and quality design education experiences for K-12 students. Ronald Feldman Fine Arts was founded in November 1971 at 33 East 74th Street by Ronald and Frayda Feldman. In 1982, after one season with both uptown and downtown exhibition spaces, the gallery consolidated at 31 Mercer Street in SoHo.
