We offer you and your children a center environment with a home like feel. We are not babysitters, but educators, who will instill in your child the knowledge and skills needed to prepare them for school and working with others. At Rising Stars Learning Center, we implement Christian principles of love, honesty, faithfulness, integrity and so much more. As a public, open-enrollment, charter school, we believe that a student's zip code shouldn't dictate the quality of the education they receive. Our students are held to high academic, as well as personal, standards, and are expected to set their sights on college and beyond. In addition, because of our partnership with Spring Branch, our students have the opportunity to participate in the electives and extracurricular activities offered at SBISD's Northbrook High School. We are a Restorative Campus - we engage in restorative practices designed to give students more choice and more voice, to build healthy communities, increase social capital, to decrease antisocial behavior, and to repair harm and restore relationships. We want our students to see themselves as having a fundamental role in positively impacting their community. YES Prep NHS will prepare students to gain access to the opportunities that comes with a college degree, and will support our students to and through college. Our daily schedules and activities are planned to promote a creative, social, intellectual, physical, emotional, and nurturing experience, through developmental age appropriate lesson plans on a weekly basis. We ensure proper teacher guided interaction, and open ended learning and play. Precious Jewel provides the child with a nutritional balanced menu to support their health and growth. As we are a bi-lingual education center our children enjoy the benefits of culturally diverse activities both indoors and out.
