HISTORY: Since 1991, music fans far and wide have recognized the Crocodile as Seattle’s best live music venue. There is no other spot in the 206 with such a storied and beloved past, and no other rock and roll venue that has earned its right to occupy the hearts of so many. The Back Bar has become a favorite neighborhood spot where we serve hot pizza and cold drinks 7 nights a week. There is venue programming 7 nights a week as well. When there's not killer shows in the showroom, our back bar events include intimate, sweaty local shows at a $5 cover, Happy Hour Bingo, DJs nights, Monday night open mic comedy and Tuesday night karaoke. The Seattle Cinerama Theatre is a landmark movie theater located in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, Washington in the United States of America. It is one of only three movie theaters in the world still capable of showing three-panel Cinerama films.HistoryThe Seattle Cinerama opened in 1963 as Seattle's Martin Cinerama as a showcase for the eponymous technology, but was retrofitted a few months later to also show 70 mm films on its huge curved screen. The movie house soon became specialized in showing such spectaculars as The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm and It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. Both formats shortly fell out of fashion, and Krakatoa, East of Java from 1969 was the last non-standard film to be shown at the Cinerama in the first era of its existence.The following three decades were lean, as the proliferation of suburban multiplex theaters drew movie fans away from the Cinerama. Lackluster ticket sales quickly led to a general decline in the theater's upkeep, until it was relegated to play second-run movies after being taken over by Cineplex Odeon on a reduced rent, month-to-month basis.Major 1990s renovationThe turnaround began in 1997 when developers revealed plans to turn the Cinerama into a dinner theater or a rock-climbing club. This sparked a grassroots effort to save the historic venue, with local film buffs circulating petitions and issuing an urgent cry for help, which was answered by multi-billionaire Paul Allen, himself a movie fan and patron of the theater during its 1960s heyday.

Melrose Market Studios is an urban event space on the west edge of Capitol Hill, just a few blocks from the heart of downtown Seattle. Located in a historic 1927 building that has been completely refurbished, this distinct venue is a great place to hold an event for up to 250 people.
With some of the nation’s best bartenders on hand to engage with guests, and the delicious foods Chefs Brian McCracken and Dana Tough love to present, we’re in the process of designing an entire menu of themed dinners, receptions and cocktail parties to entice. Our 2,200 square foot space in a 1920s brick building features decorative ceilings, chandeliers and lighting, and an interior living wall of botanicals. The Coterie Room is now booking for events, from large to more intimate. Select holiday dates are available but do fill up quickly.

The Fourth and Blanchard Building, also known as the Sedgwick James Building or the Darth Vader building, is a skyscraper located in the Belltown neighborhood just north of downtown Seattle. The high-rise style construction rises to 105 meters (344 feet) and has 25 floors above the ground. Chester L. Lindsey Architects, notable as the architects of the Columbia Center, designed the building. The building holds commercial office space. It is located in the Denny Regrade, on the site of what was once the highest point of Denny Hill, and is about one hundred feet taller than the peak of the former hill.The building was completed in 1979 and is clad in reflective glass. Its design is reminiscent of Houston's Pennzoil Place.
