Culture Beat Entertainment is Houston's Premier Latin Dance and Entertainment Company. We specialize in Latin Dance lessons, with emphasis on Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha, and Mambo. They are currently resident hosts of "Latin Fridays @ Fox Hollow", which has been around for over 4.5 years in a row, promoting Latin Music (live) and a great atmosphere. The "Culture Beat Salsa Social" is a monthly event, happening every 2nd Saturday of each month. This social is now ingrained in the Houston Salsa scene as a "must go" to dance event. Opening its doors to performers across many other genres -- Bachata, Kizomba, Hip-Hop, Belly dancing, Tango, Ballroom, and more. The 2nd Saturday Social is known to be one of the sexiest, friendliest, and most high-energy socials around, attracting out of town guests and enthusiasts alike. Star of Hope's Women & Family Emergency Shelter was built in 1989 and can house up to 300 guests in 71 rooms. The occupancy varies between 250 and 300 people daily, many of those served are children. Within this facility is a medical clinic, a licensed day care, pre-school area, teen activity room, and a computer learning center. Volunteer tutors come daily after school to tutor the children and help with homework and enrichment activities. Education is strongly encouraged with all guests.

Jennifer is a child and family photographer in Houston Texas. Equipped with her D700 and a variety of prime lenses she documents families and helps them to create unique images often times designing stylized sessions around a client’s interests. While the bulk of Jennifer’s work is centered around her clients, she also enjoys taking on commercial projects. Her photographs can be described as vibrant and joyful with a touch of whimsy. When Jennifer isn’t behind the lens or working at her studio, she can be found playing dress up, going on an adventure, or reading books with her two small children. She dreams of one day escaping permanently to a Caribbean Island with her family, preferably St. John.
