The SF SPCA Public Dog Training Program offers a variety of fun and reasonably priced classes to help your dog become a happy and well-behavior companion. Use positive reinforcement techniques to help address common behavior issues and learn exciting new skills! The SF SPCA Rescue Transfer Program provides life-saving transfer options for dogs in need. These dogs come from challenging backgrounds and usually will thrive in a different environment than the busy streets of San Francisco. Private consultations with board certified veterinary behaviorist Dr. Jeannine Berger are also available for one-on-one help with tricky behavior issues.
Those of us in AAT work to provide access to the human-companion animal bond for those who wish to engage in the bond, but are unable to access it through their own means. Additionally, we serve our community by facilitating the acquisition of skills requisite to full social participation and success, including basic literacy, empathy, and social conscience.
