Hope Hospice, Inc. offers up to five days a week home health aide visits in comparison to the two to three that most hospices offer. Hope Hospice, Inc. provides massage therapy to all patients that wish to participate. Hope Hospice, Inc. accepts referrals, schedules informational visits and admits patients 7 days a week, weekends and holidays included. Hope Hospice, Inc. has one hour referral response time to all families requesting an informational visit. Hope Hospice, Inc. understands how critical our support is to not only for the patient but the family as well. Hope Hospice ensures staff’s presence at bedside during or after the patient’s death. Hope Hospice, Inc. does not charge co-payments for any hospice services utilized. We also provide care to those without a payer source such as Medicare, Medicaid or an HMO. Hope Hospice, Inc.'s interdisciplinary team makes all decisions with the patients’ best interest as "the bottom line." We are Certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health as a Provider of Community Based Services. We offer services in the Kansas City and St. Louis Metropolitan areas. In addition to having staff available on an as needed basis for other service providers, we offer Personal Attendant and Independent Supported Living supports to individuals receiving services through the Department of Mental Health/Division of Developmental Disabilities.
