Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is a civil-military public airport 3mi southeast of downtown Phoenix, in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. The city of Phoenix purchased the airport from Acme for $100,000 in 1935, and TWA began service to San Francisco in 1938.
