Kimukatsu is the most famous pork cutlet restaurant in Japan with many locations throughout Japan like Tokyo, Osaka, and Sendai, just to name a few. We are featured in popular magazines and on television shows many times a year, helping to make kimukatsu one of the hottest restaurants to eat at. The secret to our popularity is the combination of a crispy texture, surrounding a juicy flavorful 25-layered pork cutlet. We select only the highest quality domestic pork, slice it thin, and stack it on top of another, thus creating a mille-feuille style. Many people refer to this as a “Meat Napoleon”. Then the 25-layer cutlet is covered with fresh breadcrumbs, then fry the cutlet slowly in low temperatures for 8 minutes. After frying, the cutlet is set vertically for two minutes to steam. Letting it stand allows the heat spread evenly inside and out and brings forth its maximum taste. Using the mille-feuille style, all the natural juices are kept inside between the layers. Making kimukatsu to be light and fluffy, and yet extremely juicy and flavorful. Relax and enjoy kimukatsu knowing that each one is made with great care.

The Shoreline Hotel is one of the only hotels in Waikiki that does not charge a resort fee and offers free wifi-internet throughout the hotel for our guests. While we do not offer self-parking options at the hotel, the Shoreline has valet parking on the property for a minimal fee of $30 per day.
