Saint Trinity Lutheran Church is a small, friendly, congregation that was founded in 1859 by truck farmers in what was Carondelet, Missouri at the time. Currently, worship is held at 10 A.M. and Bible study at 9:00 A.M. on Sundays in the historic second sanctuary built in 1872. The sanctuary is served by a Kilgen 22 rank pipe organ installed in 1903. The services are traditional with hint of contemporary.
Besides worshiping in an historic building, the congregation actively strives to help the neighborhood by co-supporting a food pantry with St. Stephens Catholic Church at Saint Trinity's parish hall at 517 W. Kolen Ave. The food pantry is open 3 days a week. In addition, breakfast is served once per month for the neighborhood at the parish hall free of charge...normally on the 4th Saturday of the month at 9:00 A.M... The congregation also employs a parish nurse to help members and neighborhood folks maintain their health.
With their small numbers, St. Trinity is looking for growth with young and "young at heart" people with an attitude of service to the community and sharing the love of Christ. It is a place where you can make a BIG difference in the congregation and neighborhood!
Folks with building maintenance skills (painting, electrical, carpentry, plastering, tuck-pointing, concrete, etc.) are also sought also as the campus requires some renovation. Another area where you can make a BIG difference!
