I would like to share with you my culture, food and traditions from Mexico. There are lots of things for you to learn and enjoy. In the month of December we have "Posadas" with Christmas Carols, a star shape piñata fill with fruit and candy, ponche (a tea with lots of fruits, cinnamon, sugar, spices, etc) and lots of food! January 6th we have "Dia de Reyes" Kings Day which commemorates the arrival of the 3 Wise Man. We celebrate with a round cake top with dry fruit and sugar and inside are baby doll figures. Whoever gets the figure is in charge of a feast with tamales on February 2nd. This is just an example of what we do. If you have a reunion and would like something fun and different, I can put together a package which includes: APPETIZER DRINK: A homemade Horchata or Jamaica MAIN MEAL: (Picadas, tostadas, flautas, chiles rellenos, tamales, gorditas, tacos, empanadas filled with beef or chicken, etc) DESSERT: (Flan any flavor (coconut, bourbon, amaretto, vanilla). OR sweet empanadas (apple, pineapple, pumpkin, peach, etc) If is for a posada I would also provide the Star shape piñata for a complete celebration. You would be in charge of getting the fruit and candy to fill the piñata.
