Breakfast Club is San Francisco’s longest running Sunday morning afterhours. From 6AM to noon every week, late night warriors and early risers meet at Monroe to fade the weekend away. Representing San Francisco’s melting pot, dancers from all walks of life join together in celebration of house music. Local residents mix with international talent in a variety of styles, from deep to tech, funky to soulful, and all points in between. All are welcome at one of SF’s top house music institutions, Breakfast Club.
We, the partners of 447 Broadway believe that the time is now for a new direction on Broadway; for fresh concepts that will bring new crowds and more diversity to the street. The goal? Stimulate the economy, bring out new entrepreneurs and mark the start of Broadway's return to its legacy status as a major cultural and musical destination for tourists and locals alike. We seek to lead this change with the introduction of a completely redesigned and newly branded upscale happy hour lounge and Top 40 dance club at 447 Broadway. Proudly announcing, “HUE,” a new lounge and dance club which promises to bring energy and excitement to the block, adding to the wave of fresh faces enveloping the entire neighborhood. It has started at Tosca's, The Comstock, Devils Acre, Doc’s Lab (and the future ChinaLive/Box Theatre) on Columbus to the west, and The Battery and the soon‐to‐be Teatro Zinzani to the east. HUE aspires to provide a new destination for the thousands of young urban professionals ages 21 ‐ 35, now working and playing in the Financial and in SOMA, flooding San Francisco with spending and activity not seen since the days of the Gold Rush. HUE will target this demographic with a newly remodeled venue divided into an upscale “street friendly” happy hour lounge and an intimate dance club showcasing live music, DJ led sets, and dancing. HUE, is a talent‐driven destination venue which will attract it’s targeted demographic through an intense focus on musical programming. The format is Top 40, Pop, House and Electronic Dance Music with offerings ranging from local singer‐songwriters and budding DJ’s in the lounge, to regionally and nationally known DJ's, live track performances by trending artists, and the occasional band in the dance club. House DJ’s will be under contract to create the target environment and digressions from format will not be tolerated. HUE will distinguish itself from its competitors through its superior musical offerings. The talent buying team will be led by partner Bennett Montoya; an industry veteran with more than 12 years in the field. Bennett will dedicate himself, full‐time, to curating a program specifically targeted to the desired demographic – a new, more gentile crowd. HUE’s principal marketing partner will be 99.7 FM, which speaks directly to this demographic through a blend of Top 40 hits culled from the Billboard charts. An in‐house promotional team will support this effort by promoting HUES’s brand and message through all appropriate social media channels as well as standard print media, radio and ticketing agencies. In addition, the partners and consultants at HUE hope to engage the other clubs on the street as part of a larger effort to diversify the entertainment offerings of Broadway. HUE's musical format is best typified by the artists below. Some of these artists will be booked for special appearances, most will be covered by our local singer‐songwriters, and their music will be played over the sound system.
