Designed by the designers of The Park, Mix Downtown, Firestone Public House, and Iron Horse Tavern, Cafeteria 15L features two outdoor patios. The use of reclaimed woods, industrial light fixtures, and an array of mixed and matched chairs create and atmosphere both whimsical and cozy. Traditional dishes are created with a twist to evoke the nostalgia and comfort of a home-cooked meal. Open for lunch, dinner, and late night weekend dining. Cafeteria 15L’s menu items feature farm to table fresh homespun creations.
Named after the locomotives that once rumbled down R Street, Iron Horse Tavern features a style that interweaves the area’s industrial heritage with sleek international touches. Reclaimed wood and hexagonal tile constituting the floors in the dining room and bar. The bar itself will feature a black anodized steel facing and pounded copper top with blown glass light fixtures and a model locomotive perched beneath the antique tin ceiling. Three booths, including one with a fireplace, will line one side of the bar space. Iron Horse’s glass doors, meanwhile, will open onto the surrounding patio, where guests can dine and drink alfresco. Iron Horse reflects the latest entry in restaurateurs Mason, Alan, and Curtis Wong's 10-year collaboration with Shopworks, the Napa-based design firm that has helped craft the look of Cafeteria 15L, Firestone Public House, and Mix Downtown. Executive Chef Christian Palmos will oversee the menu at Iron Horse Tavern.

Empress Tavern is an American Carvery in downtown Sacramento with a menu featuring rotisserie meats, craft cocktails and an adventurous battery of beers. The menu, conceptualized by Chef/Owner Michael Thiemann and Co-Executive Chef Matt Masera, will revolve around a massive Rotisol rotisserie spinning a variety of proteins. The space itself, situated in the basement of the historic Crest Theatre, is eclectic and unfussy with an open kitchen, 170 dining seats, large booths and a chef’s table for private dining. The Tavern inhabits a void underneath the Crest Theatre created in 19th century when Sacramento’s street level was raised due to flooding. Empress Tavern is named for the Empress Theatre which was the original name of the theatre when it was built as a vaudeville palace in 1912.

Over 40 consecutive years of presenting the annual Sacramento Music Festival! We will have many new bands and returning favorites in response to your demands! As always, it’s one GIANT PARTY in Old Sac and surrounding hotel ballrooms pulsing with the rhythms of jazz, swing, blues, zydeco, rockabilly, bluegrass, Latin music and more. There will be dancing in the streets! Music will be running morning, noon, and midnight. We’ll offer specialty concerts and events, like the Saturday Parade, evening lineups of dance and party bands, and a Memorial Day Salute to Service. We’ll also have world class music groups that you don’t want to miss. There’s plenty to do all weekend long. NOTE: the PARADE takes place on SATURDAY at 10 a.m. this year. Also, bring the KIDS!
