For the title game against Wisconsin, the women's basketball team sold out the Double A in less than 14 hours following their semi-final victory against Kansas State. The 15,462 in attendance was largest crowd ever for a women's basketball game played at the University of Wyoming, as well as the second biggest crowd ever at the Double A and second biggest in WNIT tournament history.

The Ivinson Mansion, now the Laramie Plains Museum, was built in 1892 in Laramie, Wyoming by Jane and Edward Ivinson. Designed by architect Walter E. Ware of Salt Lake City and built by local contractor Frank Cook, the house was regarded as the most significant residence in Laramie at its completion. Edward Ivinson gave the mansion to the Episcopal Church, which used it as a boarding school until 1958. After years of neglect, the house was acquired by the Laramie Plains Museum Association in 1972 and is used as a museum and events center.DescriptionThe Ivinson Mansion is a Victorian-style house with 11,726sqft of living space, with three floors and a basement. Its main level is built of stone, and the upper levels are of wood frame construction. The front of the house is eight rooms wide, with lavishly detailed woodwork, tile and hardware. The left hand tower is square, with a steep pyramidal roof and a projecting rounded by, while the right turret is slightly smaller, octagonal in plan and surmounted by a curved bell-shaped roof. The central bay features a projecting one-story porch with Victorian detailing, with a curved bay above and a small, steep gable above the bay. The upper levels feature shingle style details,exemplified by the curved bays and rounded recessed window jambs. The rear of the house features a depressed roofline just above the second floor with partial dormers over the windows, which cut through the eaves. The hipped roof contrasts with the towered front elevation.The property features a 2647sqft brick carriage house to the rear of the house. It was remodeled in 1921 for use as a school and renamed the Joslin Cottage. The Virginia Cottage, a nearby two-story stucco and frame building, built in 1924 and employing details from the house's rear wing shows some characteristics of the Prairie Style.

New Frontiers: The Laramie Contemporary Music Project is a festival of modern classical and cross-over classical/jazz music held on the campus of the University of Wyoming every fall. The festival brings diverse contemporary classical music to Laramie and the University of Wyoming community, and seeks to always include music by women and composers of color. While some 20th century classics are performed, the primary emphasis is on music written in the past 20 years. Festival guests include both regional and national composers and regional and national performers who specialize in new music. University of Wyoming faculty and students interested in new music play a large role as performers in the festival. Concerts are held both on and off campus in a variety of traditional and non-traditional concert spaces.

The University of Wyoming College of Law is the law school of the University of Wyoming and the only law school located in Wyoming. It is situated in the rocky mountains in Laramie, Wyoming at 7,165 ft. between the Laramie Mountains and Snowy Range Mountains. Frequently, it is referred to as "Law at its Highest Point". Established in 1920, the law school offers the J.D. degree in law, as well “a joint JD/MA in Environment and Natural Resources and joint degrees in JD/MPA and JD/MBA. Other electives include coverage of trial and appellate practice, business planning, estate planning, corporate and commercial law, administrative law, consumer law, international law, Indian law, health law, and education law.” The class of 2013 admitted 82 students from all over the United States with the majority coming from around the rocky mountain region.The College is accredited by the American Bar Association and its graduates are eligible for admission to the bar in every state. In addition, the College is a member of the Association of American Law Schools. The University of Wyoming College of Law is also specially recognized by being admitted as a member of the Order of the Coif.
