Agora Gallery, est. 1984, is a contemporary fine art gallery located in New York City's art district, Chelsea. Agora is proud to represent talented artists from around the world.
Andrea Rosen Gallery was inaugurated in January, 1990, with a seminal exhibition of work by Félix González-Torres. This exhibition would set the pace and agenda for the entire program of the gallery: conceptually rigorous, fully aware of the responsibility of putting one's subjectivity in the public realm, and unafraid of actually being beautiful. It has always been the goal of the gallery to retain a specific territory for each artist that we represent. What defines the artists as a group is that each, independently, is fully responsible to the medium of their choice and is fully questioning of the role that art plays in the contemporary social-political, and/or cultural arena. We see the responsibility of the gallery as threefold: to work for the long-term development of each artist's career, acting as a liaison to international galleries and museums as well as placing works in collections; to create an historical archive for each artist; and to act as an accessible public space in which the exhibitions become an exemplary gesture of the power of subjectivity to the audience at large.

Gallery Henoch represents painters and sculptors who exemplify the best in contemporary American, European, and Asian Realism. The work exhibited comprises a wide diversity of styles and subject matter. These artists stand out for their imagination and distinctive personal approach. All reflect Gallery Henoch's commitment to an art based on individual, subjective style and sensibility. The gallery beginnings trace back to 1966 where its first incarnation was known as Christopher Street Gallery in Greenwich Village. Its rise in reputation coincided with a move to Madison Avenue. By 1982, the gallery artists were garnering reviews from the press. In this year Gallery Henoch solidified its position as an elite venue championing representational painters and sensing a shift in the art scene to SoHo, it moved to Wooster St. With the emergence of Chelsea as the new art center of New York, the gallery moved to 25th Street in the Fall of 2000. It now resides in a large multilevel ground floor space. Gallery Henoch features 8 shows a year and attends premier art fairs.
