Kitty and Suraphol Meeriyagerd came over to the United States in 1982. They never planned on opening up a Thai restaurant but it was their destiny. They brought recipes from their family in Bangkok, Thailand and it was a big hit ever since. Their first restaurant was on a little neighborhood corner-side called "Thai House" on Noe and Henry St. For people that are familiar with our brand, we still serve the same type of food ever since we started, but in a more modern and hip atmosphere. Make sure to check us out in both locations! Thai House Express (Corner of Castro and 19th St.) and Thai House 530 (530 Valencia St.)!

When you are in the mood for a vibrant yet down to earth gastronomic experience, join the hip urban crowd and head over to the Mission for Boogaloos. What was once a neighborhood Pharmacy on the busy corner of 22nd and Valencia streets is now the perfect local eatery. The colorful atmosphere will draw you in and the culinary delights will keep you coming back for more. On a lovely sunny day you can enjoy the outdoor sidewalk seating, but when the fog rolls in the bright gold walls and cushy burgundy booths of the dining room will warm your spirits. The walls are covered with beautifully laid out mosaics and a gallery of cheerful and expressive artwork made by individuals with disabilities. The service is quick, so even if you must wait to get a table your name will come up in no time at all. Your rich cup of coffee will never go empty which is good because it may take some time to choose between the many delectable choices the menu has to offer. Whether you are in the mood for savory scramblers, sweet lemon-corn meal pancakes, or a spicy mexican style breakfast the heaping portions will leave your tummy full without breaking the bank. Come in for lunch and experience a wide range of vegetarian fare, creative sandwiches or soup and salads which are anything but ordinary. For a meal every bit as eclectic as the Mission neighborhood it resides in, Boogaloo is sure to satisfy.

"Well, folks, the snake has officially reached its tail. The crew behind the '90s-themed Debaser party has gotten together to create "Last Nite," a brand new event that, much like its parent, is dedicated to reviving a specific moment in time. In this case, it's all about that brief period in the early-'00s when garage rock, dance punk, and electroclash all emerged and combined to form the soundtrack to the-then nascent hipster lifestyle. Resident DJs Jamie Jams and EmDee will be on hand to take you back to the days when "deck" was almost an adjective." - Derek Opperman, SF Weekly "Oh gawd it's here: let the retro-00s (retr00s?) commence! Jamie Jams and Emdee, the fiendish minds behind seminal '90s revival party Debaser, kick it into the Interpol-Shins-Strokes-White Stripes era and take you slightly back to "a time when punks suddenly remembered how to dance" — you could still hear guitars on the radio." - Marke B., SF Bay Guardian
