Our Mission: Touching Heart inspires kids to have a giving heart. Its purpose is to develop compassionate, kind and empathetic leaders. That is why we aim to equip every child we encounter with the tools to be compassionate and loving leaders of tomorrow. We believe that children can leave an imprint on the world in significant ways when they are taught just how impactful their thoughts and actions are. Kids who learn love and compassion for others have the greatest power to positively shape the future of our world. Our Programs: Touching Heart’s programs are focused on how to enlighten, excite, and educate children about how they can experience the true joy that comes from helping others in need. Through our programs, youth of all ages learn about social issues and how they can make a difference with their time and energy to help those living in less fortunate circumstances. Touching Heart delivers its mission through Kids on a Mission and School on a Mission programs. Kids on a Mission: Young leaders have the unique opportunity to choose their own fundraising event, create a budget, solicit donations, organize volunteers and above all, experience the joy of giving! Touching Heart creates hands-on opportunities for kids to actively experience the great joy of supporting kids in need. School on a Mission: This is a unique program offered as part of their after-school programs in a classroom environment. Students learn and talk about issues that kids around the world face every day. Throughout the class, students participate in service projects and get firsthand experience helping others by turning their compassion into action. Teaching kids about empathy, compassion, kindness and giving them an understanding of those in need helps them to appreciate the blessings we have in our lives.

AIMS INDIA FOUNDATION is an organization that seeks to bring about social transformation in India through the collective efforts of like-minded people and organizations spread across the globe. Our mission is to bring people together for the lofty purpose of bringing about a positive transformation , to achieve a vision of an economically self-sufficient and a socially harmonious India. AIMS India Foundation prides itself in integrating the community in all its activities and campaigns. The Little Drops initiative is one such effort to raise awareness and funds to provide financial and infrastructural assistance to underprivileged educational institutions in our community. Mission Our goal is to form a group of 10,000 reliable, committed donors who can contribute a small amount in a consistent manner. * Allowing people to contribute any amount, as low as 12$ per annum. * Welcome project proposals from the community

Our Mission Our mission is to work towards strengthening and empowering rural communities, by facilitating access to quality education, better infrastructure, and enabling access to better health in an attempt to bring about socioeconomic development in India. Our focus in the past several years has been to ensure that children have access to education; that adults and children in rural communities have access to good health, to enable a healthy life style; have the access to basic infrastructure for better quality of life and have access to resources that can improve their standard of living. We have accomplished these through study centers for school children, augmenting the existing infrastructure in Govt. Schools and by providing micro loans and micro credits. Our goal is to "bring people together" to promote both awareness and participation in all these projects.

On May 17th at 9:00 am, please join us at Dulles Station for the 5th Annual Red Shoe 5K Run & Walk to help families of seriously ill children heal together. This 5K event will have dri-fit T-shirts for adult participants, souvenir medals for Kid’s Fun Run participants, and prizes for our top runners. Ronald McDonald will join you for a warm-up and to say hello to all his fans. This event is family-friendly; strollers are welcome and ride free.

During 2013, 27,164 people visited the lounge at Dulles-- that's 2,263 a month! Approximately 220 volunteers and one employee staff the Lounge contributing more than 13,000 hours of service.
