Originally built in 1914 as a mortuary, the beautiful Chapel with its 40-foot high arched ceiling has been converted to a music venue with mezzanine, while the rest of the building has been remodeled to hold our sister restaurant, The Vestry, which includes an outdoor dining patio. Our Box Office is open 90 minutes before doors every night we have a show, and also on Saturday afternoons from 12:30pm - 4:30pm.

Booty Call Wednesday became a San Francisco night-life institution, with a regular roster of high-profile DJs and performers that drew a diverse crowd to its location in the heart of the city’s Castro District. Founded by the legendary drag impresario, Juanita MORE!, the idea for the weekly came about in the last days before hook-up apps became ubiquitous, when you still had to go out - to make out. For MORE!, Booty Call Wednesday was always about bringing people together and the party thrived off the energy of regulars and newcomers alike. The Midnight Sun is known for it's many tv screens, the largest in the Castro! Tuesday night is a historically slow night in the neighborhood and I wanted to give the late night gang something fun they could do, for free, so I decided to start a late night movie night. I typically show 80's/90's classics and cult films, but I like to throw a couple recent flicks in there as well to even things out. I fire up my Hello Kitty popcorn machine, grab a bunch of candy from the corner store and have $2 call and well whiskey shots for you all night long!
