We have extense knowledge on various artistic techniques such as figurative painting, abstract painting, medievel painting, illustration, drawing and printmaking among many others. Our goal is to share all this knowledge with everyone and have fun with it! Our studio is located at Mana Contemporary. Mana serves as a nexus for many of the strongest artists and organizations in the city. Artists of diverse disciplines, including painting, sculpture, photography, dance, film, sound, and performance work alongside each other in a novel campus environment which fosters experimentation, collaboration, and mutual inspiration. Not only you will have the experience to make a masterpiece, but you will be surrounded by the most exceptional artist's studios in Chicago.
Founded in 1976 as the Chicago Center for Contemporary Photography, the museum collaborates with artists, photographers, communities, and institutions locally, nationally, and internationally. As the leading photography museum in the Midwest, presenting projects and exhibitions and acquiring works that embrace a wide range of contemporary aesthetics and technologies, the museum offers students, educators, research specialists, and general audiences an intimate and comprehensive visual study center. The Museum of Contemporary Photography (MoCP) is a stimulating and innovative forum for the collection, creation, and examination of contemporary imagemaking in its camera tradition and in its expanded vocabulary of digital processes. Accredited by the American Association of Museums, the museum considers all elements of our mission to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of the artistic, cultural and political implication of the image in our world today, within the context of public service and responsibility to the community and museum profession. The Museum is committed to broadening the visual arts by constantly searching for new national and international talent to exhibit rather than simply following suit established by larger institutions. To this end, the museum’s programming guides the public to a greater understanding of thought-provoking contemporary photography as well as an appreciation for traditional work that has not yet received critical acclaim. The Averill and Bernard Leviton Gallery is part of the School of Fine and Performing Arts at Columbia College Chicago. The gallery's mission is to present professional exhibitions and educational programming that encompasses the broadest possible definition of visual art, photography, fashion, and design. This is a direct reflection of the pedagogical diversity of the SFPA and the vast array of ideas, media, and techniques explored by artists today. The gallery presents emerging and established artists whose work reflects any of the disciplines taught in the School.

Tanya's vision was to provide an approachable art gallery with affordable contemporary art from Chicago artists whose work she admired. In 2012, Ugly Step Sister Gallery moved to a permanent location on 1750 S. Union Avenue in the core of the vibrant Pilsen East Arts District. After extensive renovation of the new space, the gallery is also very excited to have partnered with Juhl Wind to create the city's first completely wind-powered "green gallery". Artistic Director John Devens says, “We want to make The Center a destination place for tourists and locals. With the addition of this exciting monthly concert series and special film screenings in our plans, we will provide a range of cultural experiences for audiences.” Daystar Center presents a monthly concert series in Chicago’s South Loop, hosted by John Devens. The Venue will feature an eclectic roster of Chicago area entertainers, and touring acts from folk to jazz artists, acoustic ensembles and songwriters, presented on a monthly basis. A film series will also be part of programming at The Center. Located just minutes from Lake Shore Drive and I-90. The Venue has a parking lot and is handicapped accessible.
