Started from a pure passion for sweets, this local small business started in a small kitchen by two self-taught friends. From years of catering to small parties, weddings and farmers markets, SWEET is now a small shop in CityCentre offering a quaint urban refuge, designed and put together by local artists. SWEET offers a variety of 100% home-made gourmet cupcakes, coffees, teas, espresso, tapioca, macarons and cookies - all made in house with natural ingredients. Baked fresh daily, SWEET uses the finest ingredients from local farmers and producers which are, whenever possible, organic and sustainable produced. SWEET strives to inspire eco-awareness through the use of eco-friendly products whenever and wherever possible. Cupcakes are baked in unbleached liners, corn cups are used for teas, recycled cups for coffees and recycled paper for all packaging. All of SWEET's furniture is vintage and wood fixtures and glassware are 100% recycled. Taking joy in simple, yet fine sweets while supporting everything local and eco-friendly is what SWEET is all about.

A chef driven quick serve Mexican restaurant, where we make all items fresh in house daily. We will have premium coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice and breakfast tacos made to order on our home made tortillas. Lunch and dinner will have: Enchiladas, Tacos, Nachos, Salads, Fajitas and Seafood items. You can enjoy Hugo Caliente for here or To Go.
Originally Caliente was going to be an “Enchilada House,”a quick serve counter restaurant that would make custom enchiladas right in front of the guest in 45 seconds!!!! The idea was the guest would customize their enchilada: green sauce with white cheese and avocado slices. Then I thought, if I do beef enchiladas, I could do fajitas and I love Nachos, we need those as well. Long story short, we created a Mexican Restaurant that we make everything in our scratch kitchen. We have everything you would want at a restaurant except Ice Cream, because we do not have a freezer. The concept is an open kitchen, the guest can see the cooks making the plates. We do have waiters to make this a full service experience. The restaurant is very kid friendly and very health conscience, most of our sauces are gluten free. We also have a great wine selection that we sell at wholesale price. Most of our wines we sell cheaper than the vineyard !!!! We also support local artist by hanging their art on our wall. The menu is always changing, adding ingredients that are in season. We locally source our produce and meats all from Texas. Some of the awards and recoginition we have received: top 10 places to eat in November (zaggots), top 12 places to eat fajitas in Houston (Culture Map), and 2nd place in a food competition in Savory Taste of Houston. We have been open for almost a year and we are excited for what we can create in the years to come. Come in and ask for me.
Really. What would happen if you ate dessert first? We think you’d be happier. Your day will be brighter. The world will seem, well, sweeter! We know this because we do it daily. With three locations in the Katy/Houston area, Ooh La La Dessert Boutique offers fresh, made-from-scratch desserts, including award-winning cupcakes, cakes, pies, cookies and more. It’s all carefully crafted by pastry chef and native Texan Vanessa O’Donnell. She’s a cutie in the kitchen, sugar and spice and everything nice, but this smart cookie is also classically trained. A graduate of the Art Institute of Houston’s Baking and Pastry program, she’s had stints by the side of some of the baking world’s best and keeps her fans coming back for more. You’ll find all the usual sugar suspects at Ooh La La’s flagship cafe located at 23920 Westheimer Parkway (Katy, TX). But there’s also a smoothie shop, coffee bar, and free wi-fi (for those who like to stay a while). Monday through Saturday, you can dine in, carry out, or yes, even drive-thru! Our second location is a one-stop sweet shop and commissary at 20155 Park Row (Katy, TX). Here we offer the same signature sweets as the other locations, but host a come-and-go atmosphere. Serving as Ooh La La’s baking hub, it’s open Monday through Saturday, and you can always find the perfect dessert, party fare, or cupcake of the day. The newest addition to Ooh La La, is the beautiful Town & Country Village location at 770 West Sam Houston Parkway North (Houston, TX). This 3,000-square-foot bakery is the biggest storefront yet, complete with wraparound patio, milkshake bar and locally sourced gelato. Don’t worry, the same heavenly confections and comforting coffee drinks are always readily available. The best part, you can get it all seven days a week!
Our concept is to grill fresh seafood over mesquite, or fry it in refined oil with a thin batter. So, while you'll find signature dishes like campechanas, seafood gumbo and whole stuffed flounder on the menu, you won't find sauces or heavy layers of breading to mask the flavor of the fish. And if something isn't in season, you won't find it on the menu. "You might want to give some serious thought to thanking your lucky stars you're in Texas." KUU is Japanese for the art of eating. It is the philosophy of our cuisine and is infused in every aspect of the dining experience — from the flavors, textures and presentations of our menu items, to the carefully curated cocktail and wine list and beautiful yakisugi wood tables. The intent is that our guests enjoy a modern Japanese dining experience unlike anywhere else. With a passion for both tradition and modern culinary trends, Chef Adison Lee, a protege of famed celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa, takes the best from both eras to create a diverse, ever- changing menu that is truly flavorful and unique. The best seasonal ingredients are sourced locally. Starting with a base of choice cuts of fish, Lee combines flavor and texture to create art. Expect to find a full spectrum of creative menu items that include sushi and sashimi as well as new spins on traditional fare, such as Kanpaccio, which features kanpachi sashimi, Texas oranges, pickled grapes and shallots, Thai chilis and cilantro, or from the hot menu, perfectly seared scallops served with a 60-degree egg, house cured bacon, yuzu yogurt and roasted fennel. KUU is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and dinner only on Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy happy hour food and drink specials weekdays from 4:30 to 6:30.
