YBR is currently the promotions and marketing firm of choice for San Francisco, having established tight-knit relationships and partnerships with venues, retail locations, event producers, and other affiliates within the industry. YBR has managed to accomplish a great deal of success, having promoted over 1200 events, concerts, product branding campaigns, and record releases to date. Yellow Brick Road is a promotion company specializing in music, event, and urban lifestyle street-level marketing. YBR Promotions was launched in 1999 as an alternative, grassroots outlet for music promotion in San Francisco: as retaliation against mundane, impersonal and ineffectual commercialized media advertising. Since its inception, it has grown to become a multi-faceted all-inclusive service provider offering marketing, consultation, and comprehensive campaign management for the entertainment industry including music, art, film, fashion, magazine, interactive gaming, and urban culture, as well as for corporate and non-profit organizations.
Cobra Creative is a digital agency, and like digital agencies everywhere we're all about interactivity. But, the kind of interactivity we're focused on goes beyond any digital device. It's interactivity that inspires real people to do real things in the real world.
US: Alexx Conroy and Jessica Tanzer Conroy have been finding locations in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond for ten years. Jessica worked an additional fifteen in advertising photography production. Our educational backgrounds are both in photography and we started Conroy Tanzer Photographic seven years ago. We enjoy scouting as much as we enjoy photography so we do both. ~ Alexx speaks German and Hebrew and The Queen's English as well~ LOCATION SCOUTING: We drive long distances to remote places. We can scout in the style of your photographer. We work hard. We have a massive database. Location scouting is our thing PRODUCING: We take several full service production jobs a year, those that come in with the potential of being an enjoyable and creative production. Our production sweet spot is a $40,000 - $200,000 budget. HUGE PRODUCTION When William or Myazu at URBANNYC has a project in our area, we will work a huge production as production coordinators. If you want a producer who can do anything with your fat-budget major production, internationally, year round, these are your people! We are always glad to work along side them and find your locations in the process. POTTERY BARN: We have worked with Pottery Barn Catalog every season, year round, since 2005, which has given us a unique and broad knowledge of the Bay Area, as well as a sweet database of locations. This amused Jessica at first, as her aesthetic and history had normally been with the fashion, music and entertainment industries, however Alexx and Jess wouldn't trade this experience for anything. The Castro/Upper Market Community Benefit District (Castro CBD) is a 501 C3 non- profit organization. Funding is provided by an assessment fee placed on the properties within the district footprint, and through grants and private donations. Services provided include sweeping the sidewalk and gutters in the district 365 days a year, quarterly steam cleaning, and graffiti removal. The Castro CBD also sponsors live outdoor performances, landscaping, greening and the creation of public spaces and security services.
