Global Brew Tap House is home to a community of craft beer lovers, 50 beers on tap and approximately 200 bottled beers from around the world. Global Brew offers a comfortable, friendly environment that is fully built around the customer experience. This tap house is designed for people who love (or are just beginning to love) in beer and the brewing process. The staff members at Global Brew seek to share a love and passion for craft beer with novice and seasoned beer drinkers. Of course, if you prefer a nice glass of wine while your beer-loving friends enjoy their latest craft beer finds, Global Brew also has a hand-selected wine list with a range of varieties. If you know of someone with both deafness and blindness…….PLEASE tell them about SASISTL. Also, YOU can make a big difference in someone’s life when you volunteer to help at SASISTL meetings and events. Nationally the Deaf-Blind community calls these volunteers SSPs [Support Service Providers]. Blindness prevents many who are Deaf-Blind from getting around, simply because they can not drive and public transportation is not always available. Being able to help with transportation to a meeting is just one way an SSP can help if they wish to. Help with transportation would make it possible for many more Deaf-Blind people to attend the meetings. While at the meetings, the SSP/volunteers can help those who are hard of hearing to understand what is being said. While those that are deaf have SSP/volunteers who know sign language interpret for them. At the same time volunteers can also help describe any visual information that is helpful. Please consider volunteering and become an SSP !
Saint Louis Vision Volleyball Club is committed to developing every athlete to the pinnacle of her ability. Our program is designed to provide the best opportunity for athletes to develop their basic fundamentals and advanced volleyball techniques, in order to achieve success. Athletes will compete and train while learning life skills that will assist them in reaching their full potential both on and off the court. Our club is driven by hard work, dedication, discipline and success. Our staff’s experience with junior club volleyball, their abilities as communicators, and our personal expectations are our best resources. We believe that a positive, caring attitude and a strong work ethic are necessities. We are proud to provide our players the opportunity to compete at the highest possible levels. We're a student organization on the St Louis campus of Webster University that is dedicated to helping Webster's film production students, film studies students, video production students, and all other students express their appreciation for the art of film and video. We host several major events during the school year (the biggest being the Webster University Student Film Festival) along with several other smaller events.
