SoMa StrEat Food Park is the Bay Area's first and largest food truck park, beer garden, and event space. We maintain a vibrant community of over 100 of the best mobile food vendors in the Bay, and organize food truck catering and events throughout the area. Our unique 20,000 square foot space includes a rotating lineup of up to 12 food trucks, a permanent beer and wine bar, full bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, and seating for up to 1,000 people. We host a variety of weekly and one-off special events, including trivia, comedy, karaoke, craft markets, food festivals, holiday parties, music festivals, and viewing parties for sporting events.

Herb infused, free range rotisserie chicken, organic rosemary fingerling potatoes, tender Sonoma Valley lamb and juicy, crispy porchetta are just a few of the tantalizing delights that have earned Roli Roti the nickname, ‘Grandfather of Gourmet Street Food’. As a son of a Swiss ‘Metzgermeister’, or master butcher, Thomas Odermatt literally grew up in his family’s butcher shop in the Swiss Alps. This humble little shop, pictured on the left, is where Thomas learned his family's secrets of succulent, tender rotisserie. From his father, Otto, he learned the importance of using the right cuts for the right purpose, and of choosing only select, free range meats raised by trusted family farms. From his mother, Maria, he learned the family’s recipes for savory rotisserie, a specialty their shop prepared for customers on Saturdays. Though all the other butcher shops in the village offered rotisserie, only at Metzgerei Odermatt was there a line out the door and around the corner. “I am first a farmer, second a chef.” Thomas earned his masters degree in organic farming from ETH, Zürich then traveled to the US to continue his education at UC Berkeley. He was captivated, instead, by the local, gourmet food scene developing in Berkeley. The wood fired ovens of Chez Panisse and the lively Farmers’ Markets resonated with him. Yet he soon realized that freshly cooked, healthy street food was nonexistent in the US. “No one in America was serving simple, wholesome food on the go.” Meanwhile the rotisserie dinners Thomas prepared for friends were so wildly popular that he was inspired to fill this particular niche, by taking his family recipes on the road – indeed, to the streets. And the idea for Roli Roti, Gourmet Mobile Rotisserie was born. Today, Thomas and his family are passionate about sharing their slow food values, family recipes, and delicious rotisserie at farmers’ markets across the Bay Area. Dabba is inspired by a beloved restaurant known as Avatar's, an institution in Marin County, California. Brother and sister owners Ashok and Kala have been delighting loyal fans with their bold, fresh "Marin-dian" cooking and "trust me, you'll love it" adventurous spirit since opening their doors in 1989. It was one of those loyal fans, a social entrepreneur named Andy Mercy, who came up with the idea of sharing their unique crave-worthy and good-for-you cooking with people outside of Marin. With the Avatar team on board, Andy enlisted the talents of Michelin-rated Chef Walter Abrams, branded a food truck with a surfing elephant, and set about nourishing and enriching the world with ridiculously good and healthy food. The name Dabba (Hindi for "lunchbox") was inspired by a complex food delivery system in Mumbai that is run by a network of delivery men called "dabbawalas." For over a century they have been ferrying dabbas filled with hot, home-cooked lunches from kitchens to customers at their office doorsteps (and back), with near clockwork precision. We've been inspired by the best. Now it's our turn to deliver Dabba to people with the same warmth, wholesome ingredients, bold flavor, consistency, and efficiency as Ashok, Kala and the dedicated dabbawalas.
