Our artists represent a broad range of contemporary and traditional styles, media, and interests. In addition to its commercial activities, the Arts Factory provides an artistic lifeline and facility for many educational functions and community group meetings, including a weekly Life Drawing class, monthly board meetings of the 18b Las Vegas Arts District Neighborhood Association, the Las Vegas Sculpture Park, UNLV, and local high school student art exhibitions, fund raiser events for notable local and national charities, and the Smithsonian Institute lecture series. The Arts Factory has also provided a unique cultural venue for over 300 musical concerts, poetry readings, and live theatrical performances. The 18b Arts District participates in Gallery Openings and an Art Walk festival on the first Friday of every month – from 6:00pm – 10:00pm. The night before each “First Friday” all our studios are open to give a sneak preview of new artwork – it’s an ideal opportunity to meet our artists without a crowd. “Preview Thursday” has become the unofficial “collector’s night” and runs from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.
DJ Style and Morpheus Blak are your musical guides on this journey into the dark. SCARLET is a regular bi-weekly event taking place twice a month at Artifice (1025 S. First Street (at Charleston), Las Vegas, NV 89101) on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month in Las Vegas. The largest Brazilian festival in Las Vegas is coming back and this time with a 2-day festival at the Rio Hotel parking lot. This family orientated festival will be filled with live Brazilian music and performances like samba shows, capoeira shows and other shows. There will be over 40 vendors where you can find tons of Brazilian food, caipirinha and beer booths.
