Permanently closed. Booty Call Wednesday became a San Francisco night-life institution, with a regular roster of high-profile DJs and performers that drew a diverse crowd to its location in the heart of the city’s Castro District. Founded by the legendary drag impresario, Juanita MORE!, the idea for the weekly came about in the last days before hook-up apps became ubiquitous, when you still had to go out - to make out. For MORE!, Booty Call Wednesday was always about bringing people together and the party thrived off the energy of regulars and newcomers alike. In MORE!’s own words, “Booty Call Wednesday reminds us that in this day in age, there’s always more than one way to connect.”
The gay beach at Dolores Park (aka The Fruit Shelf) is the place to spend a sunny weekend day. We created this site to encourage people to create theme picnics, mini-bars and entertainment. The Fruit Shelf is located in the corner of the park near 20th and Church St.
Terra Mia Ceramic studio is the original "paint-your-own" ceramic studio that started back in 1994. We are here to guide you through the creative process and you will delight in the finished product. Your piece will be food and dishwasher safe and will be enjoyed for years to come. We are a drop in studio but you are welcome to make a reservation as well. We host all kinds of parties in our private garden room, birthdays - baby showers and team building events are most popular. Call for more details.
We believe in supporting each child’s imagination and creativity. Theater allows us to explore different characters in ourselves and experience the powerful nature of storytelling. Theater is a wonderful way to implement empathy in our coming generations. It is something that stays with you for the rest of your life. Theater offers children the opportunity to access their emotions and express them, because it is an outlet where opening up is celebrated. It is something that stays with you for the rest of your life. You never forget that time you walked out on stage and let yourself be seen.
