Located close to Everything, Stage Werx Theatre is intimate yet roomy and comfortable. Not a bad seat in the house, and cozy seats at that. Wide variety of programing from Stand-Up Comedy, Improv, Sketch, to Storytelling, Solo Performance and full length plays. Musicals, bands, and concerts as well as movie nights. Great rehearsal/class space also.
A Women Owned, Gender & POC Inclusive tattoo studio with an 18-year reputation for treating our clients right. Up to ten artists with a range of styles and specialties are available to work with you on creating your next (or very first!) piece of skin art. We're open every day 12pm to 7pm, come by and check out the custom portfolios and be inspired by our creative, professional atmosphere and comfortable space. Located in the SOMA district of San Francisco, Gruenwald Press has facilities for stone lithography, intaglio, and letterpress. We are open to contract printing, private instruction, and workshops and classes in hand printing. The large and airy space allows for a pleasant working environment, as well as a great exhibition or performance space and room for workshops and classes in other disciplines.
Oliver Hawke Gallery ABOUT US: Oliver Hawke Gallery is a pop-up art gallery and art exhibition space producing monthly group and solo shows in the South of Market district of San Francisco. The gallery is affiliated with The Artillery SF, a film, visual graphics and animation studio. Oliver Hawke promotes new and emerging as well as established artists working in various media including illustration, painting, video art, photography and mixed media. The goal of Oliver Hawke Gallery is to provide a dynamic alternative art space where artists can exhibit and sell their art, where the public can be exposed to new artists and ideas in art, and to encourage the creative arts community of San Francisco. The pop-up gallery/exhibition space was a reaction to many local artists being priced out by rising costs in San Francisco. Our hope is that this space will promote artists living and working in the city of San Francisco. And for artists beyond, it will be part of a vibrant arts community.
Revolutions Per Minute (RPM) is a nonprofit agency that provides artists with strategy and support for their activism and philanthropy. RPM was founded in 2005 by musicians, managers, and advisors from bands including Pearl Jam, The Beastie Boys, and R.E.M. in order to share best practices and lessons learned from their own activism. Today, RPM’s network includes over a thousand musicians, comedians, and other allies. RPM provides a wide range of offerings, from finely honed “DIY” resources to customized advisory services. The agency is best known for its disaster response program, artist activism retreats, ticket add-on services, issue briefings, and election-year strategies.
Friendship House operates two residential treatment facilities: an 80-bed four-story healing center for adults located in the Mission District of San Francisco, and the Friendship House American Indian Lodge located in Oakland for American Indian women with their children. Both residential treatment facilities are licensed and certified by the State of California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs. Additionally, Friendship House is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. (CARF)

The mission of the SF LGBT Center is to connect our diverse community to opportunities, resources and each other to achieve our vision of a stronger, healthier, and more equitable world for LGBT people and our allies. When visitors arrive at the Center, they find free services like career counseling, job fairs, computer lab, social activities, mentorships, youth meals, daycare, various workshops and much more. Here they can connect with other LGBT people and organize to secure our equal rights. The Center is truly the heart, home and hands of the San Francisco LGBT community.
ALRP is the only institution in the San Francisco Bay Area dedicated to providing free and low-cost legal assistance and education on virtually any civil matter to persons living with HIV/AIDS. This includes widely disparate legal areas such as housing, employment, insurance, immigration, wills, confidentiality matters, family, credit, bankruptcy, tax, government benefits, or public accommodations, to name just a few.

In 2000, we began publishing Central City Extra, a monthly newspaper for the Tenderloin, Civic Center and Sixth Street corridor. It is the first nonprofit neighborhood newspaper in San Francisco and the only one whose professional journalists also can report from a community service perspective, thanks to our longtime experience as a fiscal sponsor of innovative, successful services in public health, behavioral health, children and families, and the arts.
Since June 1994, AGUILAS (Asamblea Gay Unida Impactando Latinos A Superarse)has sponsored an HIV prevention program for gay and bisexual Latinos called "El Ambiente" (literally translated, it means "in the life"). The goal of the program is to prevent the occurrence and relapse of unsafe sexual practices. This is achieved by providing a safe environment and taking in consideration issues specific to Latino culture, and being gay or bisexual. All activities are friendly, interactive and educational. The workshops offered by AGUILAS El Ambiente have been found to reduce high-risk behaviors for HIV infection amongst gay and bisexual Latino men.
Committed to a critical, youth-centered pedagogy, Youth Speaks places young people in control of their intellectual and artistic development. We are urgently driven by the belief that literacy is a need, not a want, and that literacy comes in various forms. As we move more deeply into the 21st Century, oral poetry is helping to define the new American Voice. By making the connection between poetry, spoken word, youth development and civic engagement, Youth Speaks aims to deconstruct dominant narratives in hopes of achieving a more inclusive, and active, culture. Believing that young people have the tools to take control of their lives through language, Youth Speaks encourages youth to express themselves using their own vernacular. Youth Speaks believes that having knowledge, practice, and confidence in the written and spoken language is essential to the self-empowerment of an individual. We fill a need for creative approaches to literary arts education and literacy development; we believe it is crucial to provide spaces where youth can undergo a process of personal growth and transformation in a program that enriches their educational, professional, artistic and leadership skills.
