The Sublette Economic Resource Council was created to provide leadership and resources to promote sustainable economic development in Sublette County including the cultivation of Sublette County as a desirable place to do business, produce goods and services, educate our citizens and enjoy our exceptional quality of life. Sublette Economic Resource Council shall implement economic development goals established through a collaborative effort between public and private sectors and will in part: 1. Identify, support and facilitate county-wide opportunities. 2. Promote sustainable job creation through information sharing, grant procurement and workforce education. 3. Encourage and recruit local, regional, and statewide entrepreneurial business initiatives for county-wide expansion. 4. Develop strategies to improve and diversify the economy in Sublette County, Wyoming. 5. Serve as a central contact for prospective or existing businesses wishing to locate or expand in Sublette County, Wyoming. 6. Act as the liaison between local, state, and federal agencies to collect information about programs concerning economic development. Provide the names of contacts and details about available programs to interested individuals or businesses. 7. Communicate with and coordinate the efforts of various groups in the County concerned with economic development such as local governments and the Chamber of Commerce. 8. Actively work to identify and follow up on leads concerning potential businesses that could be attracted to the County or concerning possibilities for expanding existing businesses to create more jobs. 9. Promote Sublette County's business climate through an information campaign designed to educated businesses with potential for moving to Sublette County, Wyoming.
