The Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science opened in 1999 and houses an art gallery, concert hall, large-format theater, and science museum in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States.HistoryThe Pavilion was a result of a renovation of Washington High School which was eventually moved to the northeast side of the city. The building is of Neoclassical styling and is architecturally interesting. The building's facade is created from large blocks of Sioux Quartzite, a pinkish quartzite native to the area and seen at the falls of the Big Sioux River. A small portion of the north wing is constructed of black rock which was believed to be black quartzite but is in fact corson diabase, which is hardened liquid magma.ContentsThe Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science contains the Kirby Science Discover Center, a massive 3 floor, regional, hands-on science experience. The Pavilion also houses two performing arts centers, which play host to several Broadway productions, operas, dance and concert productions. The South Dakota Symphony's home also hosts dance groups as well as smaller theater and choral events.

If you are in need of a new web design or need help with your existing website, you’ve come to the right place. Hi, my name is Brian Rand. I’m the lead designer and founder of Revolutionary Designs, a South Dakota web design and graphic design agency. I have been designing and developing websites for the last ten years. I love web design, graphic design and online marketing and always stay up-to-date on the latest trends and web-development technologies. I have a background in Design (for superior online experience and ease of navigation) and Programming (for easy-to-use content management tools and trouble-free performance) but more importantly—I am a marketer. While working for a non-profit early on in my career, I created a logo and a website for the organization I worked for. Several other non-profits took notice of our web design rebranding efforts and I started getting approached by non-profits from around the region to help rebrand their organizations. After helping several non-profits develop new branding and new web presences, a number of for-profit companies began to take notice. In early 2008, it was clear that it was time to step down from my non-profit position to focus on helping non-profit organizations and for-profit companies alike. I launched Revolutionary Designs to help clients create compelling marketing messages that evoke emotional response. Since then, I’ve worked with more than 150 different organizations around the world to meet their marketing, graphic design and website development needs. The best piece of wisdom that I’ve ever received was this: “Brian, don’t forget that you are in the people business and you happen to offer websites.” I’m extremely passionate about people and I’m extremely passionate about helping get results for my clients. If there’s something I can help you with, feel free to get in touch.
For the past 50 years we have specialized in the liquidation of estates and businesses, with a special emphasis on antiques & collectibles. On the real estate side, we specialize in residential and bare land properties. The late, Harold Wingler, our company founder, always said, “you can’t be all things to all people”. As a result, we have worked to confine our focus to the things we do best -that is antiques, household, business liquidations and real estate. We’re confident none will work harder, or do it better! For general information, or to discuss your potential needs, give us a call 605-332-5682 or e-mail us at [email protected]. We’d consider it an honor to work with you.
