Established in 2001, Phoenix Cafe first opened in 2001 by Ren and Lisa Wu. Originally from Guangzhou, China, Ren has been learning the art of Chinese cuisine for several decades focusing on "southern" style of Cantonese cooking. The Wu family first moved to Houston, Tx, but relocated to San Antonio in hopes of a new and successful restaurant and here we are now! A decade later and proudly serving San Antonio. To get your taste buds accustomed to our authentic Indian food, start your meal with the marinated and mesquite broiled Tandoori Chicken Wings or a fresh salad filled with crisp greens. Order our artisan handcrafted naan bread in a variety of flavors including breads stuffed with spiced lamb, mild herbs, cashews and cherries, and many others. For entrees, there is something to please everyone. With so many succulent chicken, exotic lamb, marinated beef, tantalizing seafood, and flavorful vegetarian options it will be hard to decide which dish to eat. Our rice is specially imported from India and flavored with saffron. Just the smell of our Indian foods will make your mouth water!
