Following a thorough assessment, we decide on a plan of instructional strategies and behavioral management systems. If your child has learning challenges, the best route to classroom improvement is one-on-one tutoring and coaching. As critical members of the care team, our tutors are highly attuned to the individual needs of each student.
Advocacy is an essential success strategy. Students with learning challenges should understand their unique learning styles and then be taught how to ask for what they need. This is an acquired skill that often takes students out of their comfort zone and does not come easily or quickly. Shelley provides coaching in this area and gives students the tools to independently seek out and receive the help they need to succeed.

Although we can send a tutor to your home, frequently the student prefers our home-like setting where there are none of the usual distractions.
