Saint Louis Ballpark Village is a dining and entertainment district adjacent to Busch Stadium where the St. Louis Cardinals play in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, occupying the site of the previous Busch Stadium. Situated on the 200 and 300 blocks of Clark Street across from Busch Stadium, the $100 million first phase of Ballpark Village consists of 150000sqft of retail shops, restaurants, entertainment venues and 720 parking spaces. As BPV's name and locale suggest, it is designed to be an extension of Busch Stadium and an innovative approach to creating a neighborhood – hearkening to Chicago's own Wrigleyville district next to Wrigley Field – and vitalize downtown St. Louis' economic potential. The project offers over 200+ events annually instead of only the 81 days of Cardinals home games, make the region more of a focal point in the Midwest, and enhance the ballpark goers' experience. The first main phase of construction was completed in time for Opening Day of the 2014 Major League Baseball season. The Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum and Cardinals Nation Restaurant, Fox Sports Midwest Live! Restaurant, the Budweiser Brew House, and PBR St. Louis all comprised the first phase. The primary developer is the Cordish Company of Baltimore, Maryland.

In America, we’re obsessed with size. Bigger homes and bigger trucks; we love the mammoth home runs and the muscle-bound monsters who belt them; the saying goes in basketball that “you can’t teach height;” and we salivate over the 350 pound lineman in football.
But what about the little guy? The underdog. The David to Goliath? The Rudy?
No one better exemplifies the underdog spirit than Eddie Gaedel, who stood just 3’7. On August 19, 1951, Gaedel came to the plate in his lone at-bat for the St. Louis Browns vs. the Detroit Tigers. Wearing uniform number 1/8, he walked in his only career plate appearance in front of 18,369 adoring fans. And despite small feet, his was no small feat, indeed.
So here’s to the little guy. Welcome to Tiny Bar – Kind of a BIG Deal.

Located in the heart of the Washington Avenue Historic District, Prime 1000 blends the beauty of old St. Louis with a modern design aesthetic. Arguably one of the masterpieces of late 19th century commercial design, this imposing Romanesque Revival building was built in 1888-89 for local tobacco company magnates John E. Liggett and George S. Myers from plans by Isaac Taylor of St. Louis. The new space was artfully designed and constructed by SPACE Architecture+Design.
We’re located on the first floor of the Merchandise Mart building at the corner of 10th and Washington Ave in downtown St. Louis.
Our vision is to create a fun, clean and friendly atmosphere for the downtown residents, visitors and employees of St Louis, by providing warm welcoming smiles, friendly conversation and excellent product and customer service. We need you and we depend on you. Thank you for allowing us to serve you. If not for you, we wouldn’t be here. We thank you for visiting and hope to see you again!

Asia Gourmet is a small family-owned Chinese fast food restaurant in the heart of downtown St. Louis. Recently re-opened in August 2014, it is run by Aileen Mai and Karen Wu. It was previously called Chinese Express which ran for about 30 years on its little corner on Tucker Boulevard under the close eye of Karen Wu and the late Nam Ngo. Many local office and shops flock to Chinese Express when lunch time rolled around.
When St. Louis upgraded the streets, the restaurant took steps to re-established itself as well. After months of hard work and preparation, the new Asia Gourmet opened its doors to old and new patrons alike. Ms. Mai, Ms. Wu and the crew moved over to the new location a little ways south on Tucker Boulevard. The menu was updated and a few new flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine was added to the plate. Our new store has a waiting area and plenty of seating for those who want to take eat their meal in-house or to-go.
Please have a visit and experience a little slice of Asia Gourmet today!
We hope to see you soon at 412 N Tucker Blvd Saint Louis MO 63101!
