Children’s Playhouse of Maryland, Inc. (CPM) is a non-profit community theatre dedicated to youth performers ages 18 and under. We believe that working with children through the arts enables them to gain confidence, a sense of responsibility, and an appreciation for the arts. At the same time we are offering a live theatre experience to young audience members in the diverse greater Baltimore community. The Children's Playhouse of Maryland is in residence at CCBC Essex, J Building, 7201 Rossville Boulevard in the White Marsh area of Baltimore County. In addition to producing 5 musicals per year, CPM provides opportunities for youth interested in theater tech. All of our productions are auditioned, and there is no charge to the youth who are cast in the shows. CPM also offers acting classes, dance classes and a summer performance workshop. To learn more about our programs, call the Children's Playhouse office at 443-840-2426. To receive notices of auditions for CPM and selected others in the Baltimore area, send an email to [email protected] and ask to be added to the newsletter list.

The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is the civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force. While the CAP is sponsored by the Air Force, it is not an operating reserve component under the Air Force or the federal government. CAP is a non-profit volunteer organization with an aviation-minded membership that includes people from all backgrounds, lifestyles, and occupations. It performs three Congressionally assigned key missions: emergency services, which includes search and rescue (by air and ground) and disaster recovery operations; aerospace education for youth and the general public; and cadet programs for teenage youth. In addition, CAP has recently been tasked with homeland security and courier service missions. CAP increases our nation’s security capabilities by providing airborne reconnaissance and imagery, disaster and damage assessment, airborne transportation of personnel, equipment and critical supplies, and multi-layered communications support. CAP can provide manpower for communications and emergency operations centers, search and rescue teams, and ground support teams.
Welcome to Aid Our Veterans. Our Mission: Helping homeless and out of work veterans. To supply Beds, Shelters and Homes for those Vets in America who have fallen on hard times. To attend Stand Downs in association with our VA Hospitals and to provide assistance to those men and women who have served so bravely for our country, but now find themselves out of work and/or homeless. To supply hot meals, cloths, blankets, tents, and other supplies to those who are on the streets until they are ready to seek help for themselves. To find work and place Vets in need in those jobs. We are dedicated to showing our support, and your support and our country's support for their service to our country.
NROTC works to support the veterans and military families through out the entire United States in a variety of ways. From providing " Get Well" and "Thank You" cards to Veterans and service member is VA hospitals to providing emergency funds, recreational therapy, "Foxhole" pillows and Gold Star & Blue Star Banner programs. We strive to meet the needs of our service men and women and their families in as many ways as possible.
According to the gospel of John13:34 Jesus said to his disciples, “A new commandment I give to you, Love one another, as I have loved you, so you must love one another.” We want to use this command as a foundation that will bring about change. Jesus said you can tell my disciples by the love they display to one another (v.35). We want everyone to have freedom, to feel loved, and to work in unity to build a community. We do not want to provide just a Sunday morning worship service but a seven day experience where people can find the freedom to be who God created them to be, where people will feel love in a way that challenges them to love others in return, starting with self. When people find freedom and begin to feel loved, unity will not be forced but will become a foundation. Through the Freedom Center we want to begin to build a place where the families can be restored, where the homeless can find help, where the children can learn in a fun, safe environment, and where you can receive job training that will help you begin to live at another level of life.
