The Savoy at Curtis Park occupies the second floor of a landmark Victorian building. Built in 1887 and residing in the historic Curtis Park Neighborhood, the second floor was used as a private social club with a dance floor/social space, lobby, and lounge. Today, it remains as one of the few surviving spaces of its kind in the city of Denver. A short walk from Coors Field, adjacent to the RiNo Arts and Entertainment District, the building was renovated in 2001. In 2012 the second floor was restored to its original configuration and the maple and cherry wood floors were returned to their original luster. The room and the lounge retain their original pressed tin ceilings and both spaces are illuminated by the original nine foot windows that offer city and mountain views. THE HISTORIC PARKSIDE MANSION…TRADITIONAL ELEGANCE WITH A MODERN TWIST - The stately Colonial Revival known to many as the Parkside Mansion, is again available as a Denver rental venue. Dating back to 1905, the Parkside keeps a watchful eye over business meetings, celebrations and Non-Profit events and has worn many hats since being built by Colorado Lumber Baron, Charles Daniel McPhee and his business partner John J. McGinnity. Past, Present, Future. From 1935 to 1981, the mansion was home to several different families and businesses. In 1981, the home was purchased with the intent of use as a social and business event site. The complete restoration to its original condition and the addition of the existing banquet room on the South side of the mansion can host up to 350 people for gatherings. Directly above the banquet room is a roof-top patio, which can accommodate an additional 75 guests and is ideal for warm weather gatherings and outdoor weddings - all set with the outstanding backdrop of City Park. In recent years, Four Winds Interactive, the leader in digital signage grew its company here. With the generation of 147 jobs from 2008-2011 they outgrew the Parkside Mansion quickly. After catapulting it into the future with technological updates throughout the building, the company now uses it as an off-site meeting space and offers booking of corporate events, weddings, and gatherings. The mansion is under new management.
