The Kitchen Sink is a family owned diner with locations in the Central West End and Downtown. The name means just what it implies, on the menu you’ll find everything but "The Kitchen Sink.” We serve St. Louis style creole that’s a little spicy and highly seasoned. For those of you who have never had this type of cooking, The Kitchen Sink is a great place to start! There are more than 100 items on the menu, the most expensive of them being only $15. From the delicious breakfasts, to delectable dinners and everything in between, you are sure to find something that satisfies your cravings without breaking the bank! Not sure what you’re craving? We have an option for that as well! Ask your server for the “idk” and answer a few quick questions on your flavor preferences and our chef will go to work!

We roast or smoke all of our meats in house, no pre-processed deli slices here. We also use locally baked breads and fresh produce to create the best sandwiches in town.

New on the Avenue The new neighbor on Washington Avenue is Caruso’s Deli and they are located inside the Washington Ave post at 1312 Washington Avenue in the loft district. The Deli will come to be better known as the “Neighborhood Deli” it is a lot like what you remember from when you were a kid with everything fresh made, even a big pickle jar right on the counter. This is a place where you can get meats and cheeses sliced to order with great sandwiches and salads made fresh just the way you want them. They make breakfast sandwiches and yogurt parfaits to get your day started and hand crafted salads and sandwiches for lunch while you wait or get what you’re looking for right out of the self serve case. Jerry and Linda Caruso are the owners of Caruso’s (Neighborhood) Deli and bring over 40 years of combined experience with food and customer service. The Caruso’s are very excited to join this wonderful neighborhood and look forward to catering your office and holiday parties. Located in the heart of the Washington Avenue Historic District, Prime 1000 blends the beauty of old St. Louis with a modern design aesthetic. Arguably one of the masterpieces of late 19th century commercial design, this imposing Romanesque Revival building was built in 1888-89 for local tobacco company magnates John E. Liggett and George S. Myers from plans by Isaac Taylor of St. Louis. The new space was artfully designed and constructed by SPACE Architecture+Design. We’re located on the first floor of the Merchandise Mart building at the corner of 10th and Washington Ave in downtown St. Louis.

Asia Gourmet is a small family-owned Chinese fast food restaurant in the heart of downtown St. Louis. Recently re-opened in August 2014, it is run by Aileen Mai and Karen Wu. It was previously called Chinese Express which ran for about 30 years on its little corner on Tucker Boulevard under the close eye of Karen Wu and the late Nam Ngo. Many local office and shops flock to Chinese Express when lunch time rolled around. When St. Louis upgraded the streets, the restaurant took steps to re-established itself as well. After months of hard work and preparation, the new Asia Gourmet opened its doors to old and new patrons alike. Ms. Mai, Ms. Wu and the crew moved over to the new location a little ways south on Tucker Boulevard. The menu was updated and a few new flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine was added to the plate. Miss Leon's has joined forces with Hiro Asian Kitchen. It will feature Fried Chicken as it's main entrée. On Sunday's there will be my fried chicken dinner with my southern sides but with an Asian twist. Come and get some stick to your ribs good home cooking made from scratch.
