The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts offers an Associate’s degree in Film and TV Performance, as well as an optional third year focused on acting for the stage. Our programs are dedicated to providing professional acting training that is practical, relevant, and rigorous. Every year we travel, see and audition thousands of aspiring actors only to allow a select few into our conservatory. Those students get the opportunity to experience the most demanding, comprehensive and rewarding acting training for today's aspiring actor. Acting is not a prerequisite for admission. TEAK serves 145 6th- through 12th-grade Fellows annually and currently supports 160 graduates through an Alumni Program. In a room capped at 30 participants, dancers are given the opportunity to explore movement in a non-competitive, yet highly motivated dance environment. For only a flat rate of five dollars, The Playground allows the dancer to freely experience each choreographer’s styles and ideas, engage with a new community of dancers, and gather resourceful information and inspiration from the plethora of choreographers involved. The Playground provides choreographers with free space to manifest their thoughts onto bodies, refine their teaching methods on trained professionals, and establish relationships with new dancers, fellow choreographers, and prominent presenters. Arranged is the occasion to scope out New York’s most emerging and explosive talent in an unconventional setting. In this situation, presenters are able to study the personalities of whom they commission instead of just the final product.

Impoverished communities around the world will be the most vulnerable. What if there were simple solutions that lessened this burden? What if there were economical solutions that delivered lasting improvements at a fraction of current costs? ARCHIVE Global, Architecture for Health in Vulnerable Environments, believes that housing affects global health in a powerful way. We operate at the intersection of development, health, and architecture. We believe that a better built environment can drastically reduce the burden of disease and death in impoverished communities worldwide. We prioritize design as a key strategy in combating disease around the world. Prevention is the key to reducing the burden of disease. An extraordinary lineup of renowned chefs and sommeliers will join together to fight childhood hunger at the 19th Annual Autumn Harvest Dinner to benefit Share Our Strength. The event will be held at Gramercy Tavern on Monday, September 30, 2013, beginning at 6 PM. The evening includes a five-course dinner donated and prepared by five celebrated chefs, accompanied by extraordinary wines, selected and poured by renowned sommeliers. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday at 2 pm in Madison Square Park and generally meets near the south west corner of the park at 23rd Street and Fifth Avenue . The Madison Square Park Congregation was founded on the Day of Pentecost, 2007. The currect pastor is the Rev. James "Seamus" Campbell, an Old Catholic priest part of the Old Catholic Church, Province of the US and assisted by the Rev. Deacon Denise LaVetty of the Episcopal Diocese of New York. Thirty eight souls attended the first Eucharist celebrated in this park on a sunny and pleasantly warm Sunday afternoon. Pastor Clyde welcomed everyone and made introductory remarks. The Rev. David Lewicki officiated and preached. A second meal was provided by members of Marble Collegiate Church, one of our participating ‘housed’ congregations, and everyone enjoyed a real spirit of fellowship. Attendance ranges from a few to twenty-five. Currently, 15 to 25 regular parishioners participate in worship with us weekly. In the event of inclement weather (wet or weather below 32 degrees) or we are displaced by crowds, like the yearly National BBQ which places its major beer tent on our usual site, the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament which offers serving instruction and other tennis tips on our usual site, or the installation of periodic public art projects in the park, the annual Gay Pride March or the Big Apple Bar-b-cue, we move to the garden or Church of the Transfiguration on 29th and between Madison and Fifth Avenues and start the Mass at 2:15 pm Ecclesia Ministries provides a Real Presence of Christ to those on the margins and really invites your presence and your participation. Join us for the Holy Eucharist every Sunday at 2 pm.
